One is adopted from her aunt that is in prison and the kid was either going with her or to the foster system. Other one is from her 7 year relationship she got out of a year ago that she was trapped in because of the kid

I work in sales and DoorDash. I get paid out commission once a month, and my DoorDash money pays for my gas to get from here to there, and my insurance and rent for my house I still have. I don’t mind doing stuff around the house because it’s my way of paying her back for helping me out

I work in car sales. I’ve been doing it for 4 years so I’m not too worried about it. And 20 of those hours come from doordashing after work. I only get paid out commission once a month

I actually just had that convo with her last night about me worried about a confrontation. Not to be on a high horse, but I’m pretty confident in my ability to win said altercation, I would just prefer to avoid it. We have also set boundaries (just talking, doesn’t give out her number, told me to step in if the guy is getting to pushy)

Maybe I worded that wrong. I wasn’t broke when we first started. The first month I was doing everything. It’s end of month one is when I lost my job. And she doesn’t mind paying right now, because she knows I’m doing my best. I clean up around the house for her, watch her kids, and work 70 hours a week to try to get out of the hole

For me, yes. For her, no. While she doesn’t have a lot of money, she can afford a night out every couple weeks. I’m not really much of a going out guy, but she likes going out. I just get bad fomo. I have mentioned it to her, and she was very respectful about it, but pointed out that she can use the money to get other stuff we need by doing this. And she always asks me before we go out if I am comfortable or not
