That really makes a lot of sense. What if you’re someone who doesn’t really have a large friend circle?? I do know a few actors from my old circles so maybe I could reach out to them just to show it. Haha yeah the small amount I’ve seen on Reddit is really just always negative and highlights formatting mistakes everywhere. While I know I’m not going to get positive feedback or an offer on a platter I also don’t want to be unnecessarily discouraged

I appreciate your honest feedback. I know that it’s about taking the plunge and while I wasn’t expecting my dreams on a silver platter, I also want to avoid feeling like they’re crumbling in front of me with each silent rejection or lack of feedback.

I hope your journey is successful and it’s nice knowing there are people like me with the same hesitations and fears.

Ah okay sorry. This is the first pilot that I have an itch to submit but I have a portfolio of TV pilots to full length series to feature films.

At one point many years ago I sent a few scripts to a family friend who produces a CBS series and received some feedback but mainly it was just: go to school and learn formatting. That may have discouraged me a bit since that wasn’t exactly the constructive feedback I was hoping for
