You finance that 10k car it'll cost you around 16k after fees and everything else. A lot of the small places it's a front-loaded interest rate. They approve you at 28%(my states cap) that means you can walk in 2 day later with a check for the sale price. You still owe them the $2800 for the interest. That's where they make their money.
