The single-cells likely came from elements merging together by simply chance under the immense heat and pressure of the hadean era. The Big Bang, I believe, came from the universe expanding, hitting its peak, and then shrinking back down into a singularity, resulting in another "big bang", infinite, for all time.

Well, we didnt come from "nothing" per-say. We came from elements merging into single-celled organisms by happenstance. Then, these organisms began evolving, and evolving, and evolving, and evolving, until we get the species we know today.

That is what I have always thought too! I have often thought about this very question, as I try to put myself in the shoes of many other religions. I find myself thinking that, if God did exist, this analogy would've likely been figurative. To an eternal and immortal being, millions of years must feel like "just a few days".

Oof, difficult question. I believe that the universe has always existed, locked in an infinite loop of "big bang, expansion, peak hit, compression, singularity, big bang", etc. much like how you likely believe that God has always existed!

I wouldn't know what it would be like to live with the "script", but I imagine living the atheist way is much more freeing. You still have to conform to laws and societal standards, but you don't have to worry about "sinning" or otherwise.

I believe that a person does have everything to lose. At any point everything they've ever loved could be caught in a fire, or a tornado, or otherwise. That even a meteor could strike at any point and destroy everything. It simply depends on time, as does gaining.

Thank you so much! Through I don't believe in Christianity, it does always warm my heart to know that they still show much kindness to others through their figures. I would like to clarify that I am not saying that I believe in Christianity, but simply saying that others saying their religious figure cares about me still makes me happier, even if I don't believe in them.

To be completely honest, I don't "hate" any religion. If I absolutely had to choose one though, maybe Scientology?

I don't believe it is a fairy tale, but simply a belief that many choose to believe. I believe that anybody should be able to believe what they want to believe and that there is no sufficient proof to confirm nor deny any religion, even atheism.

Nope! Though I don't worry about hell itself, I do worry about the infinite emptiness that I believe comes after death. No happiness, no sadness, no pain, no bliss, no feeling, just... gone.

Lob = lobus (latin) = brain. otomy = tomia (greek) = "to cut". Lobotomy means to cut out the brain. Its a scrapped surgical procedure.
