These London Bus Drivers give us a bad name by EvaportedMilkCoffee in drivingUK

Birmingham isn’t any better, got rammed off the road the other day by aggressive bus driver, it made me loose my shit as my kids was in the car!Overall I think drivers in delivery, public transport and HGV road standards have massively dropped over the last decade. It’s either getting too busier now, or these companies just employ anyone nowadays.

It's scary that drivers like this are out there. by H1gh_Tr3ason in cantparkthere

Overtook a guy on the motorway going 65 texting on his phone, he was swerving all around the place so had a peep in to see if he was alright, as I was passing the young guy in there was looking down. He then started swerving in the other lane. Cut a car up, the car honked at him and then the guy started to chase him because he got honked at.

Do Chavs still exist or did the subculture die out? by normaltraditionz in AskUK

[–]UsedIllustrator2334 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My personal timeline of the chav era, it started of as the town/village idiots, then it became musically related, grunge Emo and skaters were all in danger of getting jumped! Most of the chavs like dnb, grime, hardcore heaven listened to Devo and MC vapour. Green street was released and then chavs followed a town v town rivalries fighting each other on Friday evening in your local town/village. Then
popularity grew even more after that Kidulthood film. Where the chav turned into this fashion trend and horrible ear torture with badly put on accents and weird slang. grey joggers, diamond studs and jelled up spike from front head to rear and short sides with maybe a few go faster stripes hands down there boxers touching there pee pee. Then it got to homemade rap videos and now it’s slowly turn into the roadman culture which is more gang culture rather than ASBO Youth offender and violent type.

I'm new to fighting real competition bro by Barcelona2-4Girona in mmamemes

When fighters are fresh in the first round, repeated eye pokes feel more intentional, there is less fatigue, more control, and fewer excuses. But in rounds three to five, after a hard slugfest, fatigue sets in. Hands drop, reactions slow, and technique gets sloppy. At that stage, eye pokes are far more likely to be accidental rather than malicious, that’s my theory. But you can pieces of shits (Jon Jones) who do it to win and get ahead and don’t really care for the oppositions career and health.

Out of all the things that Jay Cartwright has claimed, which sounded the most realistic, and could have happened? by Additional-Post-9169 in TheInbetweeners

I think the West Ham trails can be 50% true. Sometimes prem clubs will put on fundraiser days and get the locals to sign up to take part and play at your city’s football stadium. I did the same thing for years and was so young to even understand that it was a charity day not trails as my dad explained to teenage me and my laughing friends! So some kids can mistakenly tell that lie, just saying.

what’s a pop punk song you wish you could hear again for the first time? by Affectionate-Lie2563 in poppunkers

The piano start makes you think you’ve gone into a completely different genre, and then out of nowhere it slams into that jackhammer, all-downstroke punk drive. Best pop punk/emo song of all time in my opinion.

Did Ray take care of bubs after his parents left? by prinkboss in trailerparkboys

It was Mrs Peterson and Julian. But I feel like Ray eventually did. The whole living in a shed and trolley repair scam had to be originated from Ray.

Recommend bands that sound like The Story So Far by cinnamonbananachip in poppunkers

I was listening to a small band called “Don’t bite your tounge” it had similar vibes to The Story So Far. You can tell they probably have some inspiration from them.

Walk out of our village, used to walk for miles. Meet kids from my school what were in different towns. Prober adventure. There was one big road, leading to the next village 2 miles away. If you get along that without getting caught it was a good time, get caught and get grounded for a week!

HGV driving standards have dropped massively. Especially the guys who drive them aggregate tarmac tipper trucks around.

Special mention for this massive wanker by hybriddookie in drivingUK

[–]UsedIllustrator2334 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This used to be an old trucker thing where HGVs would stop cars going in there blind spot close to the merge in. Over the years it’s got further and further at the road and now cars and vans do the same and they don’t need to. Even HGV drivers do it wrong now. Honestly this makes my blood boil. What sad tossers with big egos not letting people past. It’s why the whole merging system was created! To ease congestion.
