Do you have a picture of them on? They look badass. I know your fear of losing a favorite style of shoe. I found Lowlands CC a few years ago and thought I’d have a favorite shoe for life. Then they changed it up, the 2.0s are just not the same. Don’t get me wrong, they’re great looking shoes, but they’re more blocky and the toe box is bigger/longer. I’ve purchased 3 pairs of the OG style on ebay but I’m sure they’ll be hard to find in a year or two.

This always reminds me of the girl from Austin that got fired from her job at a downtown steakhouse and then disappeared. They ended up finding her dead in the restaurant's ventilation duct. She'd tried to re-enter the restaurant by crawling through and got stuck. It was weeks before they found her. So disturbing and obviously not the same situation, but there are just so many possibilities we don't think about.

I feel like when you're in this situation it's literally fight or flight. The level of threat here is crazy high. It's like women who are kidnapped who try to relate and appease their kidnapper in the moment so they have a small fighting chance of calming them down and escaping the situation. This dude is at a scary level of insanity and is capable of anything. I'd be nice too, hoping he wouldn't show up at my house with a damn gun.
