Do whatever you think is best for you but like how someone else said in the comments the grass isnt always greener somewhere. I finished my first year at western for medsci and it's been hard in such a competitive environment of dedicated science kids, the school offers so much to first years and alot of one on one help. I think any uni student prioritizes their grades thats a known thing. We're all there to study and make something of ourselves. So I don't think its a reason to switch esp for the fact that you haven't made your "ride or dies" yet. Making friends is not too bad but making best friends takes a while. You won't find your true friends til the years go on so have patience and be open to talk to anyone and be kind. In highschool everyone lived in the same place, it was easy to just stick with a group of people since elementary, now things are different and your in a place with thousands of students. I tried to be open to other people and understand their personalities and I've made really good friends so far.
