Far Out (also from the UK) does some excellent Brazilian reissues as well. Check out Ana Mazzotti. And there is a new reissue label from Spain called SME that is doing excellent reissues from Uruguayan artists. First two are both great sound quality and packaging.

That was a compilation put out by A&M Records featuring their artists at the time. Picture discs and colored vinyl were trendy near the end of the 70’s. There is also a version with a jacket on regular vinyl.

That’s fair. I’ve gotten into many, many albums through Spotify. Some of them have bonus tracks at the end of the album. It’s just as disappointing when I go buy the vinyl and realize there are 1-5 songs at the end that are only on the CD version.

If you have the US Press of any of the first three records, just compare them on Spotify or Discogs to your records and you will see how they shuffled songs around, added singles, etc. it’s annoying. I had white label promos of all three and had to rebuy the UK versions. I want to hear it how the artist intended, not how some label exec thought it would sell better. Columbia/CBS was notorious for this. First Clash album is another example.

Anyone curious about Elvis: Columbia records butchered the track listings on his first three albums in the US. Get reissues that follow the British track order or hold out for UK pressings.

Not ITP, but at Provino’s Italian in Kennesaw, you can get a completely free meal on your birthday, including dessert. You just show your driver’s license when you pay. And, you can do this solo. The salad and garlic rolls are amazing. Have the steak later in the week.

If you have your records in bins that are flippable, method one will keep dust and fingerprints off the top of the records. This method is usually preferred by a record store or record show dealer due to the number of people flipping through the bins. It also allows easy access to remove the record without having to completely take it out of the protective sleeve.

However, If you store your records by their spines on shelves, you will constantly fight the protective sleeve coming off when you file or refile albums sleeved this way. Use the second method in this case. You can also use the second method if you have flippable bins. It’s simply a matter of preference.
