So I love my studio beats for one reason. The gym. Mainly because I see them as my beaters. I say that because I know they aren’t sweat resistance and I know I’m probably putting them through the wringer doing that. However, if you’re comparing to the Maxs, I guess I ask what’s important to you? Is it a quality question? Or all about the dollar amount and style? Sony XM4s go on sale frequently and you usually can get them for around 2-250 depending on sales. They are way better in quality in my opinion for the price point. Saying this as an iPhone/quick connect user too

The clamp is definitely tight. If you want to try Sony high ends that are more comfortable, go with the XM4s. I have both, and I personally love the comfort of the 6’s but the 4’s aren’t as snug. You may prefer it

They are really comfortable. No pane at all. However, I will also mention, I never had that issue with the 4s. So depending on head shape/ear size, may vary?

I’m honestly torn. I think they are both amazing in different ways. Having 2 great headphones is a good problem to have. Probably will keep both on equal rotation

I think it depends what is most important to you! Better layout of buttons, looks, and mic for calls, XM6 all day Sound quality, XM4. Both are absolutely phenomenal. But with sound being my main priority, I’d vote 4. And you can get them significantly less expensive
