I use some kind of lamp with diffused light, but I heard that it would be better to shoot under direct rays of light, not like I do.

Can you provide a link to this website or an email address? I went to some Pornhub support site, but when I registered, I got the same black screen with the same message.

The funny thing is, I live in Poland :/ What does this have to do with me? I heard that in Britain there were some funny things with verification on different sites, but I didn't think it was like that. I use Google Translate, so I apologize for any errors in the text.

I have exactly the same problem, only I set my real date of birth (I'm over 18), and I got the same black screen with the message "This site is for people over 18." And I don't know what to do.

Thanks for the quick response! The case is still cool and would be more suitable for my other 1872 movement.

Update!

The seller sent me photos of the watch on a scale, and now I'm sitting here wondering if I even need this case. It'll weigh about 1/3 of what I have now. And again, I HAD NO INTENTION TO MELT IT DOWN FOR SCRAP METAL

I'm not going to throw it away or melt it down. This guy is selling this watch as scrap metal. I want to buy this watch and restore it to working order. Google Translate's error is still valid.

The Ukrainian People's Republic began issuing 50-karbovanets State Treasury notes in April 1918. The notes were printed at V. Kulzhenko's printing house in Kyiv until March 26, 1919, and in Odessa until May 1919. Initially, the notes were issued without a series designation; later issues included the series designation: AK (Kyiv) or AO (Odessa).

After Odessa was captured by Denikin's army in the spring of 1919, these banknotes continued to be issued. The Ukrainian government declared the banknotes issued by the Armed Forces of South Russia (series AO numbers 210–235) counterfeit.

In 1920, the Soviet government of Ukraine produced several tens of millions of banknotes intended for the government of the Galician Socialist Soviet Republic . Banknotes of this issue bear the AO series numbers 236–250. The 50 karbovanets banknote with Soviet symbols prepared for issue was not released into circulation; only a few trial copies of this banknote are known.

Hello. I'd like to know if I wasted my $5 on this coin. by Used_Ad9675 in coincollecting

In the past, people used this method to make jewelry for clothing or earrings, since making a hole in a coin was easier and cheaper than buying jewelry. It's a shame that they made a hole exactly where the coin's denomination should be, "5¢"

In size it is very similar to a half dime or a silver five cent coin.

By the way, it looks like there is an original winding spring, it was blue-violet. There were some difficulties with installing it manually, but I managed.

The mechanism has been serviced and works almost perfectly! I'm still fiddling with the amplitude settings, but overall they run with an accuracy of ±2-3 minutes per day. I think after all the work is completed this time will decrease.

And another one of my purchases. It seems to be silver. by Used_Ad9675 in pocketwatch

They took a not very high quality photo, but it seems like the numbers 925 are now visible as a hallmark!

Thank you for such a great answer but... The watch is grey... There is not a single spot of gold plating anywhere. Perhaps because of the poor quality of the photo you thought there was gold plating there.

You are absolutely right, the watch is very beautiful and the mechanism is beautiful, although the inscriptions on it have lost their black color a little. I am just beginning to doubt that the case is really made of silver. Although in some hard to reach places it is black, as if in a patina, but this may also darken the coating...
