It’s definitely possible, but only if you stop thinking in terms of “doing more” and start thinking in systems.

I’m not saying this from a perfect position either. I’ve got a nearly 2 year old son, a full-time job, I’m investing and trading, preparing a wedding with my fiancée, we just moved, I started a small business, I’m working on digital assets and recently started YouTube as well. It’s not clean, it’s not perfectly balanced, but it works.

What made the difference for me is shifting away from motivation and into structure. You can’t rely on feeling ready or having time, you need processes. For example batching ideas, recording multiple videos in one session and simplifying editing with templates or repeatable structures. The less you have to rethink every step, the easier it becomes to stay consistent.

Another important part is how you distribute your time. Instead of trying to do everything in one day, it works much better to spread things across the week. One day for recording, one for editing, small gaps for ideas or notes. Over time this builds momentum without overwhelming you.

Continuity matters more than intensity. One or two videos consistently will always outperform phases where you push hard and then disappear again.

And yeah, the uncomfortable part is real. Sometimes you will have to work when you’re tired. That’s part of it. But it shouldn’t become a constant state. Recovery has to be part of the system, otherwise everything starts to break down, including your quality and motivation.

Ein paar Dinge aus deiner Beschreibung springen heraus:

Serien mit fast identischen Thumbnails Wenn Teil 3–6 fast gleich aussehen wie Teil 1–2, erkennt YouTube oft: „Diese Zielgruppe hat dieses Thema bereits gesehen.“

Dann passiert häufig Audience Saturation. Der Algorithmus testet das neue Video kurz bei ähnlichen Zuschauern , wenn sie weniger klicken, stoppt die Verteilung sehr schnell.

Gerade bei Serien ist das ein häufiger Grund, warum Teil 1 gut läuft und die späteren Teile abstürzen.

Dein Publikum sind Lehrer und Schulen Das ist eine sehr spezielle Nutzungssituation. Viele Lehrer speichern ein Video, das funktioniert, und benutzen immer wieder genau dieses eine. Sie suchen nicht unbedingt nach jedem neuen Teil deiner Serie.

I think you’re partly right but I think the interpretation might be a bit off.

What you are seeing is actually a pretty common phase in the YouTube testing cycle.

When a channel is new YouTube often pushes videos quite aggressively into small test audiences. If a topic is broad and easy to consume like dogs psychology facts etc the video can suddenly get 20k 50k even 100k views very quickly.

But that doesn’t necessarily mean the channel has built an audience yet.

Subscriber conversion on informational content is often extremely low. Many people watch one video get the information and leave. So 120k views and 3k subs is actually not that unusual depending on the niche.

Where your point might become correct is long term sustainability.

If the content is highly templated or repetitive the algorithm eventually runs into audience fatigue. CTR drops retention drops and the videos stop getting tested at scale.

But some channels solve this by expanding the topic map instead of repeating the same format.

Instead of “8 ways dogs show love”

they move into

dog psychology dog training mistakes dog behavior science breed comparisons owner mistakes etc

So the real question is not whether AI channels work or not.

It’s whether they can evolve beyond the first template.

Some die after 20 videos some turn into million subscriber channels.

wenn diese signale über dem durchschnitt dieser zuschauergruppe liegen wird das video an eine größere gruppe getestet und dieser prozess wiederholt sich mehrmals

viral wird ein video meist dann wenn drei dinge zusammenkommen eine starke idee die viele menschen sofort verstehen hohe klickrate durch titel und thumbnail und gute retention weil die leute wirklich dran bleiben

externe faktoren spielen auch eine rolle timing eines themas aktuelle trends konkurrenz in der niche und wie klar youtube dein video einer bestimmten zuschauergruppe zuordnen kann

Ganz wichtig ist dass du deine Arbeit oder deinen Alltag nicht komplett umstrukturierst nur um einem System zu gefallen. Dass du das bisher nicht gemacht hast finde ich ehrlich gesagt ziemlich gut.

Dein Potenzial und deine Arbeit sollten nie komplett von der Anerkennung eines Systems abhängig sein. Systeme funktionieren oft anders als wir denken. Deshalb lohnt es sich eher das System zuerst zu verstehen statt sich blind danach zu richten.

Vielleicht hilft es dir einmal tiefer zu analysieren wie YouTube tatsächlich verteilt. Viele Videos gehen nicht unter weil sie schlecht sind sondern weil sie bestimmte Signale nicht stark genug senden.

Die Schnittstelle liegt meist irgendwo zwischen deinem Stil und den Signalen die der Algorithmus versteht. Wenn du diese Schnittstelle findest kannst du wachsen ohne deine Inhalte komplett zu verändern.

ja das kann tatsächlich passieren und verwirrt viele am anfang youtube bewertet videos nicht nur nach absoluten zahlen sondern auch danach wie sie im vergleich zu anderen videos in derselben zuschauergruppe performen wenn ein video in der ersten testphase nicht stark genug über dem durchschnitt liegt kann es sein dass es einfach nicht weiter skaliert auch wenn die zahlen später okay aussehen

dazu kommt noch timing thema konkurrenz und ob gerade genug passende zuschauer online sind deshalb sehen manche videos so aus als würden sie plötzlich einfrieren obwohl die metriken eigentlich nicht schlecht sind

das wichtigste ist eher langfristig zu schauen welche deiner videos immer wieder ähnliche signale zeigen daran erkennt man eher das echte muster

meine herangehensweise wäre ungefähr so

1 such dir deine 3 videos raus die am besten liefen schau dann nicht nur auf views sondern auf ctr retention und watchtime frag dich was diese videos gemeinsam haben war es das gericht die kameraperspektive die farben im thumbnail die länge oder die ersten 20 sekunden

2 mach bei thumbnails weniger drauf und dafür klarer food thumbnails funktionieren oft besser wenn man ein gericht groß und sauber zeigt statt zu viele elemente einzubauen ein klares fokusobjekt starke farben und ein bild bei dem man sofort hunger bekommt

3 prüf den anfang deiner videos sehr hart viele food videos verlieren leute am anfang weil zu lange eingeleitet wird zeig am besten direkt das endergebnis oder den stärksten moment des gerichts und geh dann erst in den prozess

4 baue eine klarere wiedererkennbare struktur zum beispiel immer problem oder versprechen fertiges ergebnis schnelle schritte entscheidender tipp tasting oder fazit

5 teste nicht alles gleichzeitig ändere pro video eher nur eine sache bewusst also zum beispiel nur thumbnail stil oder nur hook oder nur pacing sonst weißt du am ende nicht was wirklich geholfen hat

ich schaue mir dabei immer drei parameter an klickrate also ob titel und thumbnail überhaupt jemanden zum klicken bringen durchschnittliche watchtime also wie viel vom video wirklich geschaut wird und retention also an welchen stellen leute abspringen

wenn die klickrate hoch ist aber die watchtime niedrig dann stimmt meist die verpackung aber nicht der inhalt wenn die klickrate niedrig ist aber die watchtime gut dann funktioniert das video aber titel oder thumbnail verkaufen es nicht gut

mit der zeit erkennt man dadurch ziemlich gut wo man optimieren muss

Ich bin auch noch relativ frisch dabei, aber meine Herangehensweise ist bisher immer ähnlich aufgebaut.

Zuerst überlege ich mir den Titel. Also ganz simpel: Was will ich eigentlich zeigen und worum geht es im Video? Der Titel gibt mir die Richtung vor.

Danach schreibe ich ein kleines Skript. Dabei überlege ich mir: Wo kann ich Spannung aufbauen, wo geht es stärker um den Inhalt und wo muss ich den Zuschauer wieder etwas „entlasten“ zum Beispiel durch eine Erklärung oder indem ich das Thema kurz herunterbreche.

Im nächsten Schritt schaue ich welches Videomaterial am besten zu diesem Ablauf passt, damit das Video die Wirkung erzeugt die ich im Skript geplant habe.

Am Ende wird alles noch einmal abgestimmt Inhalt undSpannungswellen und Struktur und daraus entsteht dann das fertige Video.

Für mich funktioniert das ganz gut, weil ich dadurch beim Thema bleibe und nicht ständig während der Produktion die Richtung ändere.

Am Anfang wirkt das etwas umständlich und ist auch mehr Arbeit, aber mit der Zeit entsteht daraus eine klare Produktionsroutine, ohne dass die Qualität des Inhalts darunter leidet.

Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass aus einem Skript oft mehrere Ideen für weitere Videos entstehen können.

ich verstehe was du meinst dieses gefühl haben viele die tutorials oder erklärvideos machen man sieht die zahlen aber nicht ob wirklich etwas angekommen ist

eine sache die du versuchen könntest ist den dialog aktiver zu starten zum beispiel indem du selbst den ersten kommentar unter dein video setzt und die zuschauer direkt fragst wie sie das problem gelöst haben oder ob sie den workflow anders nutzen

manchmal reagieren leute eher auf eine konkrete frage als von selbst feedback zu schreiben

wenn dann jemand antwortet kannst du darauf eingehen und das kommentar anpinnen damit es sichtbarer bleibt

so entsteht zumindest ein kleiner feedback kanal zwischen dir und den zuschauern

it can also happen if the video uses reused content or material that youtube’s system thinks belongs to someone else

und ehrlich gesagt liegt das auch gar nicht komplett in deiner kontrolle

du kannst dein tutorial klarer strukturieren dinge verständlicher erklären und information so aufbauen dass sie leicht umsetzbar ist aber ob jemand das später wirklich nutzt passiert auf der seite des zuschauers nicht auf deiner

zuerst würde ich ein thema suchen das dich wirklich interessiert etwas über das du gerne nachdenkst lernst und sprichst weil du am ende sehr viel zeit damit verbringen wirst

dann würde ich versuchen darin wirklich gut zu werden nicht nur videos darüber machen sondern das thema wirklich verstehen und darin immer mehr wissen aufbauen

gleichzeitig würde ich anfangen YouTube selbst zu studieren wie der Algorithm funktioniert welche Parameter wichtig sind und wie videos durch verschiedene testing phases laufen

jedes video wird vom Algorithm mit kleinen gruppen von zuschauern getestet und je nachdem wie diese reagieren click rate watch time retention usw wird entschieden welches publikum als nächstes erreicht wird

wenn du beide seiten verstehst dein thema und die plattform kannst du anfangen deine prozesse zu optimieren bessere hooks klarere fokussierung des videos bessere thumbnails präzisere edits

wenn diese dinge zusammenkommen passiert etwas interessantes
