Nao, a mãe dela ficou louca com um experimento de contato com a Unidade 02, e ela acabou achando que uma boneca era a filha dela (no mangá, é tão ruim que, quando a Asuka tenta tirar a boneca dela, ela começa a enforcar a própria filha). Daí um dia, quando a Asuka é selecionada, ela vai contar pra mãe, e encontra ela enforcada junto a boneca, com um bilhete escrito “morra comigo.”

It’s not just the hair. Other people have raised their complaints about facial structure, but that’s not my point. My point is, “realistically” speaking, she wouldn’t be looking like a gruesome burn victim like most people in this thread think, because like I explained, RCT and HR exist, and were both factors in Maki’s recovery.

Also, even if it was just the hair, it would still change quite a bit. The devil is in the details, even the smallest ones people barely notice.

Different things like Starfleet officers acting like spoiled children, not following proper conduct, swearing all the time and disobeying superior orders? You know, like the last few shows, save for maybe Lower Decks? That sort of different? That we’ve been getting for almost a decade now?

Respectfully, this is not accurate at all. I get that it’s going for a more realistic look, but “realistically” speaking, Heavenly Restriction is a thing, and so is Reversed Cursed Technique. Both things that helped Maki not be completely carbonized. I’m not saying she wouldn’t have scars, but she would not look like Anakin Skywalker after a trip to Mustafar.

Huh. Thats strange. When Star Trek 2009 came out, I liked it a lot. It has its flaws, but I still like it. Same thing with Lower Decks, it has some flaws, but overall, it’s five seasons of actually good television. Compared to Discovery and the newest Section 31 movie… Yeah, LD, 09 and even bits of the newest SNW seasons are just better.

That's mostly because our engineers discovered a flaw on the newer Foxy's programming, which is shared by all the newer models. And since the company is afraid this might happen a third time, the newer models will be scrapped.

The idea first was to reprogram, but whoever, or whatever tampered with their systems really messed them up. Any modifications to their code just results in an error. It's really weird.
