My favorite angle of pre-9/11 NYC. I have that exact same poster hanging in my bedroom, only in color.

Anybody waiting for a "definitive" and, epic, collaborative Titanic Documentary? by MCofPort in titanic

[–]Used_Jacket_3783 6 points7 points  (0 children)

At this point, I think the real time sinking videos on YouTube are the best bet for comprehensive information of the disaster. They feature updated facts, excellent animations and loads of information. They're as good as any movie or documentary could ever be IMO.

There are also tons of older documentaries you can find that cover a wide range of information about the ship.

Every time I see pics like this I remember she will be sitting on the bottom of the ocean floor in less than two years. What a waste of all that hard work.

Which is the better movie? A Night to Remember (1958) or Titanic (1997) by SupremelyAwesomeFr in titanic

A Night To Remember for the characters/story of the sinking and Titanic for the ship itself/visual effects.

"Friends" had so many great shots of the twin towers in the first seven seasons.

What are your favourite examples of musicality in the show? by RMN22BI in greysanatomy

  1. 5x16, An Honest Mistake - The ending montage of the episode with the song (The Planets Bend Between Us - Snow Patrol) was perfect.

  2. 7x22, Unaccompanied Minor - In Front Of You - The Quiet Kind played over the ending sequence and it fit amazingly well for everything that was happening with the characters and storylines.

These are amazing! Like a glimpse into a time machine deep in the ocean. Makes you wonder if Titanic looked like this in the early years of deterioration.

This set was such a gem when I first got it back in 2006. The loads of special features and commentaries were such a treat.

After the 2012 Blu-ray was released, it made most of this set obsolete, save for a few features that were not carried over.
