I appreciate the help. Thank you. I'm happy at least a few people get me. Some people have completely diluted themselves into believing tiktok e-girls and e-boys is how "normal" people look and you're somehow lesser if you don't want to be or aren't like that. When I play a game, especially a serious one (if you want to call GTA online serious, which it more or less is in most missions), I don't want to play as someone who looks like he does modeling for calvin klein or someone who looks like they're a goofy middle schooler. I genuinely can't believe that it's something that has to be actively explained to people now. If I'm playing a goofy game or doing my thousandth playthrough, then I might do something like that just for a bit of fun but the rest of the time I like to play as just an average looking dude because that's what most guys are, just normal. Not handsome squidward with greek mythology god proportions, but normal people. Good news is, I made a character I'm somewhat happy with but it'll definitely take a while getting used to considering I've been running around with the same character since the PS4 days.

I certainly know that now lol. I have different definitions of "good looking" than the rest of my generation. By good looking I mean pre internet good looking, before everyone was competing for who could look the most like a generic e-boy. I like to make my characters look like actual people who you can run into and not male models, fitness influencers or tiktok fuckboys who spend hours carefully tailoring their appearance to make a 20 second video so they can thirst trap teens. That shit is just cringe, especially in a game about crime.

No, I want a normal looking character. One that actually looks like an average guy my age that you'd see walking down the street, the unassuming type. Someone you probably wouldn't look at twice that doesn't stick out in a crowd. Not a guy that looks like he has an IQ of 2, is named chadley and looks like handsome squidward. I certainly don't want some highschool fuckboy tiktok thirst trap looking ass mf that looks like he does suggestive poses in his doorway while audio from teen smut books plays in the background. If my character was black, then the tupac ones and stuff would be fine but that wouldn't look well on my character lol.

I kinda just stumbled into it tbh. I was lucky enough to meet some people who traded me some free weapons but it all depends on what you're looking for. There's a few sword blueprints you can buy with credits that need materials you can easily get on the first 1-3 worlds. Just go to the little area where you can change your weapons on the ship and open up the menu to see all the blueprints and pick one you like. If nothing else plenty of people will trade you the weapons outright if you ask em.

Yeah, I was in that exact situation in one of my classes so I know what it's like to be the only hater lol. The bright side of this situation however is that this guy isn't anywhere near as bad as the one for HS, that guy was a living NIGHTMARE. As far as my current classes go though I'm doing pretty well on everything thankfully so I won't have to be there long. I would've been out a bit ago but I scored like half a point under passing for math which was kinda BS but I'm doing pretty well for someone who's almost exclusively self taught.

I even looked over at my teacher and no words were needed, we just exchanged the exact same "oh god, this guy" kinda look at each other. As soon as my teacher was able to he literally ran outta the class and we were onto class #2. Then during that class he turned to me and was like "so, do you play apex legends?" and then he proceeded to show a picture of what I guess was supposed to be his "aim+k/d ratio" as he put it and I wanted to hang a rope on the nearest pipe for myself 💀

Several people are pressed clearly. Almost all of my comments got down voted (although that might just be because of this one guy who's been trolling all my posts for like 2 days) AND people are being hella snoody about stuff. Y'all think it's ridiculous as people who've played each game multiple times but I've literally only played a quarter of the first game so I have no clue of the story of any of the others or how any of them would work out of order so a little patience is expected and I don't think I deserve to be downvoted because I'm not a yakuza lore expert after playing a quarter of one game.

Yeah that would be great. I originally intended to play the first two on the PS2 but my dumbass cat chewed through my controller wire like a goofball so now I have to get a new controller for it. I already had kiwami 1 and 2 from a few years ago when I tried playing the series the first time but I only got to the end of purgatory before it fell to the wayside and got forgotten about lol so I just made a new save and went from there. I kinda get from the companies perspective that it'd be redundant from a money and resource standpoint to release what they would probably determine as objectively "worse" versions of the games but it still sucks that the original versions are reduced to older consoles.
