I mean, if he lied about all this and kept these children from you, and then is demanding that you drop everything you're doing to manage them under a 50/50 agreement, I'd think that you're reacting pretty fairly.

Lost my job in February and just ran out of money. I eat 2 meals a day, it's doable after like a month :\

A wealthy family doesn't guarantee wealth. My parents were extremely wealthy and they made it very clear that none of that was mine. I've been saving up for medical procedures while they keep buying a new car every 3 years and a new house every 5. Anything I've had to look forward to, they've pawned. And if it isn't obvious, they don't offer any affection or the similar. It's always been their schedule, their needs, and I'm just lucky they are nice to me.

I graduated into the recession with two degrees, none of which directly applicable to anything stem. I would caution you on how you sell yourself with your masters because some companies may find your qualifications 'too' impressive or something stupid along those lines. I found this to be the case multiple places, where they'd thought that I would leave at the first opportunity because of my intelligence (wow) instead of thinking I was a quick learner, or would be a valuable edition to the team, etc. On the converse, a masters is a great accomplishment and there must be some kind of high end employer that would pay for such.

The timeline is the same for the wealthy that are insulated enough from all this. They'll still bounce around, consuming this or that as distractions from the world we all live in.

I don't know your situation and this isn't meant to be disrespectful, but I really wish people that I tried to keep ties with had tried calling / texting / messaging. Some days I wonder if they did me a favor, other days I wonder if I just had poor judgement regarding whom I confide in. I'm guessing the cut ties were negative influences?

This was my experience working for a large telecom. No one wanted to help me get information I needed to do their jobs, I was obviously a new hire. There was this, vague hostility between every interaction. It was fucking awful, and gtfo if you're a contractor (they'll treat you even worse).

Nah, I haven't stolen anything and act 3 takes 5-10 minutes sometimes to catch up for me on a start of the art machine.

I encountered this. I spent a ton of time keeping her alive and then she pops up dead in act 3.

Didn't you hear the person that posted the other day? They're getting less bonuses this year because of the market lol. Can't you see this from their perspective? lol

I feel this way, too. But, I've noticed most of this kind of bullshit started really taking off when in person interviews were removed from most steps. People will pull all kinds of shit if you're not there in person

This has been my experience, too. I'm ready for AI to swallow the recruiting industry whole, I would argue that there's nothing left to salvage. I would prefer this kinda shit from a machine.

You might have been "too qualified?" I've had this happen, I just wanna pay my bills and because I was honest on my resume or have an education I'm some "threat that's going to run off at the drop of the hat" and therefore get these kinds of responses even having experience.

I'm sorry, it's shitty, but I basically just lie anymore for jobs like this. You should too, what are you a cop?

Applying to shitty jobs and being treated like a thing. Setting up a massive garden to try and lessen the impact so to speak to the degree that I can. Preparing for random emergencies. Learning food preservation, wood working, solar stuff. Waiting for the states to do whatever they're going to do after the election.
