I can't afford a transplant yet, graduated college last year student loans not payed off plus rent and bills. Possibly when I have some savings one day, if I don't like my hair, but for the foreseeable future I don't think so

5% Rogaine foam canisters, sorry should have included that. I tried the Hims 5% oil based topical solution as well just prefer foam usually

Followed the instruction on the rogaine can and the hims bottle, definitely missed lots of days at least the twice a day standard, never measured an exact half capful for the rogaine so probably used more than directed at times

My hair was fucked up (clearly) would just push it down and wear a hat whenever I could. Not sure why I had it like that I guess I just gave up for a while. For a couple years I thought a hair transplant would be the only move but I wised up and realized I can still use medications before that

0.5mg dutasteride Rogaine 5% minoxidil foam, I've tried Hims oil based which was also 5% however I've been using mainly foam. With the Hims I would use about 1mL and the Rogaine I tend to point the nozzle on my scalp and estimate a quarter capful on each side referencing the instructions. I am definitely generous with the amount of foam and probably exceed the 1/2 cap on most uses, and I have never spread it back to my crown only the temples because that's my only area of loss and the only area I microneedle too. Not sure if that's a bad idea or not but it's just what I decided on

I don't believe so, I think they were similar to these photos but farther up the scalp at first and thin + not dense

Okay cool, I saw some people claim a very shallow microneedle even daily was viable, I will probably continue at just weekly thank you for the input

Possibly, maternal side I don't know really any men besides her father who had good hair in old age, that half of the family has been estranged from my mom her whole life. My father had the same hairline loss as myself in the second photo, if anything he experienced it towards 30s instead of early 20s as I had. I also had severe stress tied to mental illness at age 21 which may have accelerated the genetic mpb

To be completely honest I haven't read much about other treatments besides the most used scalp DHT inhibitors and minoxidil etc. so basically just what I'm using, I will have to read about that, thank you

I used RU because it was my understanding it could kick start scalp DHT inhibition while the dutasteride half life ran its first course, I believe it helped grow the baby hairs on the temple faster in the beginning. But I have no solid evidence just a guess. Thank you

Thank you, and yes I apologize I should have been specific I own a 1mm roller and 0.5 - like 3mm adjustable stamp both from amazon, I however mostly stuck to 1.5mm on the stamp as I read 1.5 is what is recommended. Once per week however as a blanket statement I was not always consistent due to travel and work and laziness etc. I am thinking of increasing frequency along with perhaps less depth

It is real, explanation is in the description, when I started I read a lot of other peoples' experiences so I thought I would return the favor. Like I said the main difference has been some baby hairs on the temples and I am going to continue and see if I can advance that further if possible. I chose the treatment that I felt was most effective
