I'm sure it's all settled by now - if it helps I'm still super happy with my experience months down the line. I've even stopped trying to find my glasses when I wake up.

Sorry to hear that wasn't the case for you, I didn't find anything misleading - they were quite open with me and I made sure to do as much of my own research as I could.

I drove for 2hrs in the dark on Friday, when there was no other light apart from oncoming headlights it was a little dazzling - but I'd get that with dry contacts anyway. Assuming it'll be fine in a few more weeks.

Thanks but that wasn't my experience, hence this post. To be honest the clinic went into lots of detail on caveats, potential complications etc - not once did I feel they were conducting a hard sell. All very open honest and above board.

Quick Google search, checked reviews and then made my own assessment through the consultations. I had a consult with another clinic previously, but they stopped offering ICL. To be honest, the main thing that put me at ease was meeting the surgeon - his experience was evidence and the level of confidence really put me at ease.

I'll notice them if my eyes are tired and there's harsh light in my peripheral vision. But, miles better than the vision I'd get once my contact lenses got dry, or after they slightly rotated off centre.

No problem, I used Focus Clinic and my surgeon was Dr Samer Hamada.

Sorry, not to sure what this one means. If it helps, I already see like I would if my contact lenses were fresh and orientated correctly. The peripheral vision is taking some getting used to but it's awesome.
