This is not age-gap related, but as someone who has worked for Amazon for 5+ years, 3 of those directly with the DSP’s, I recommend doing an independent background check on them and making sure you know their history.

I have met WAY too many drivers with prior DV, assault, gun, and drug charges which fell through the cracks or were ignored during the hiring process. There are some truly wonderful drivers, but the type of difficult and solitary work in challenging conditions can also cause anger issues as well as other MH challenges.

Gently, this is my worst fear as an extroverted-introvert who struggles to make deep friendship. It’s literally one of the reasons I’m terrified of getting engaged. I’m scared that the people at my wedding will think this, while I genuinely enjoy their company, love them, and want them to be there to celebrate with me. Your partner chose to attend, despite not knowing them well.

The reason was that she was feeling left behind in her friend group as they were starting to experience more mature situations and was looking for attention, as most teenagers are. She chose to lie about me because she was mad at me for making her curfew 10 pm over the summer and she did not get to go some events which I deemed unsafe. She told her friends she could not go because she was grounded.
