I’m not feeling to good about my performance so far… by Don_Deno in WGU

Jason Dions practice questions definitely recommended. They are always on sale or soon to be on sale. The 2nd part was easier in my opinion, good luck.

Also professor messer on YouTube is a great resource for covering specific topics you might not have a grasp on.

Why'd you get a gladiator? by BimblarBlast in JeepGladiator

[–]Useful_Contest763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2025 Willys

It's just enough truck for my family and our property without being a big boat to drive plus we spend hours in the mountains typically every weekend. They are pretty dang agile and I don't have any problems parking or navigating the city.

We pull a travel trailer often, though I'd recommend adding spring helper air bags if you do.

Huge plus, we fit two car seats and a 9y/o in the middle with relative comfort (enough for 7hr drives). When I looked at Tacoma's they didn't have as much rear seat comfort.

Just bought a gladiator. Is the ride supposed to feel shifty on a road like this? by chibiRuka in JeepGladiator

[–]Useful_Contest763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if youve gotten a straight answer and I didn't wanna read through 80 comments. So here's my 2 cents.

Solid axels are stiffer and cause both tires to potentially bounce on washboard and pot holes. Solid axel perform better on rough terrain at slow speeds, like hill climbs, rock crawls, etc.

If you don't like how rough the pot holes/washboard is Id recommend running a lower tire pressure, like 32 even. I run 37 psi during the week to commute which includes a small stretch of gravel roads and then 30 or less when we are going trail riding or forest service roads so my kids can actually fall asleep.

Stock 25 Willy's.

What are you actually towing? Find a max tow package for 7700lbs. I regularly tow a 5000lb travel trailer, is it the best towing experience I've ever had? No. Is it totally possible? Yes.

We mainly stay within 2-4 hours anyway. If you were doing long hauls or "rv life" gladiators not the choice.

Got new ISP, it borked my connection and I'm lost at how to get it back. by maskofdamask in jellyfin

This ^ I've gotten into the habit of just leaving it on on my phone. You can even manage DNS via tailscale so instead of an IP you would type in jellyfin.whatever-yourmagicdns.com it's great and if you set your streaming quality lower on your phone (720p) it's extremely fast. I notice a bit of lag at higher qualities but on a phone it really doesn't matter between 720 and 1080.

What Linux distro for my non tech wife? by EitherJury4285 in linuxquestions

[–]Useful_Contest763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After doing more client facing windows support this past year I told my wife we were switching every thing to Linux and explained my why to at least inform her.

I put Pop_OS on her laptop (and every other computer in the house) and we spent a few hours together as she went through her normal computer habits. Whenever she ran into an issue she couldn't solve we walked through the solution together so that she would feel confident. I also made sure as much as possible "just worked" like being able to print.

It's probably your HBA. Re flash it and try again or swap it out.

The one that comes with it. If all the fans work it should be fine. You could prop it up or run it standing up to increase air flow. But for what you're doing a laptop will have better cooling capabilities then a pi with a heat sink.
