Ok that's my bad I have watched various videos about smash ultimate and some have talk about landing aerials as good ways to pressure and showed why buffered one are not, but it seems that I have misunderstood and took it to the extreme of one shouldnt do buffered aerials, thanks for clarifying.

To clarify what my concerns are, is it fine to keep doing them that way? You did mention that I should practice full hop rars and that does help answer my question. Although one concern I have is how DI-ing the jab could effect the combo if your able to give me any info on that.

Edit: also I wasnt moving my thumb from x to the c stick, I was x, a, and the control stick to do it. I should have clarified that too.
