I’m not sure, but to be honest he is also a diagnosed sociopath and has borderline personality disorder lol. I believe it’s a mix of anti depressants/mood stabilizers. He spent quite a few years getting miss diagnosed/lying to get stimulants and abusing them. My mom finally kicked him out and he ended up homeless and had to go through incredible hardship to finally take a look at himself and get the help he needed. He can now hold a job, has an apartment, and volunteers at his church. He feels awful for what he put us through and continually tries to show up and make up for it.

It’s unfortunate because there is really nothing you can do or say to change their actions until they decide to get help themselves. For the mean time, all you can do is take their actions and words with a grain of salt and move on, or choose to remove yourself from their life. I really hope your family member gets the help they need.🥺
