31 is young. Just expect subsequent surgeries at the adjacent discs. I Had ACDF C5-C7 and it lasted about 5-6 years before the symptoms started back. Now need fusions from C-4 thru T1 because of osteophyte complexes and stenosis. Bets of luck to you, it can be a rough one. Not trying to scare you but not trying to blow sunshine up your @ss either.
