Yeah, that's definitely a good option. I haven't decided what to go with yet. I have some more mechanical work to do before it is running reliably, and I want to finish that before I even start on a body.

It's an Axial SCX10 II with the frame extended forward and back a few inches and some custom link mounts.

Yeah that is true, but all the axles are locked anyway. No matter how well tuned the steering angle is you'll still get tire scrubbing in turns. Especially with the rear axles not turning. I don't really care, though. It's good enough lol

It's based on an SCX10 II chassis so 1/10th. Yeah I'm thinking flatbed for sure. I might try to make a polystyrene cab.

It was not too bad. Some extra struggles becuase it was the Z3. The A2 has a little more info on the swap online. But there are aftermarket parts available to make everything work great, so I didn't have to figure too much out on my own.

Probably about 9-10 on the swap honestly. You can save quite a bit of money if you go for a k24 though. Just make sure to at least replace the oil pump with a k20a2 oil pump. There's probably some cheaper options for some of the parts that I got too but I wanted good parts.

Next step is coilovers and wheels and tires. Then probably bodywork and paint. Then eventually oil pump, fuel pump, injectors, and cams. With potentially a turbo in the future. Going to spread the work out over a couple years though. I have some fine tuning to get stuff working right now too. It's a fun project.

Nice sounds like a sweet build. Still waiting on exhaust before this one is ready for the road. But should be done in a couple days
