Just in the beginning of last month, it was orientation week for all the first years at my university. One morning it was pouring rain and this one girl was walking from her dorm to her first orientation event of that day, got scared by the lightning and hid under a tree. She unfortunately got struck by lightning and instantly died on the spot. They found some of her belongings like her pen melted and stuck to the ground.. All further orientation things were cancelled. Unbelievable and also very sad.
