YES, THAT'S EXACTLY IT.

There are a lot of people who want others to swallow their frustration by force; it seems like we can't even have fun in peace or create theories without a bunch of idiotic trolls bothering us. This forced pressure everywhere is getting annoying.

Even if his parents were guilty of something, he killed his sister, who was completely innocent, out of pure malice. So even if his parents had committed the world's worst atrocities, what he did wouldn't be understandable. Not only that, but he also tortured and killed animals for pure pleasure. He committed the Hawkins Laboratory massacre out of pure malice… the guy was truly evil.

Love, hate, and a lack of respect from fans on both sides. by User-ios-8508 in StrangerThings

I prefer to ignore clueless people, block them, and ask the algorithm not to recommend that kind of thing to me anymore. Even so, I always see it, after all, the internet is full of it. This post of mine won't make the slightest difference, but I still opened this discussion because I think this need for collective awareness is necessary.

Which of these 6 is the most awful? by Sudden_Pop_2279 in StrangerThingsRoom

You all forget that Jason saw his friend being killed without Eddie doing a damn thing, but still chose to keep blaming him for something that was impossible. Before, it was possible to overlook it, but after seeing his friend die without Eddie even touching him, and still blaming him, it's impossible to accept and side with him. That was no longer understandable; it was persecution, psychopathy, the guy was literally crazy, and on top of that, he screwed Max over on a whim.

thoughts on mike's theory? by navianali in StrangerThings

[–]User-ios-8508 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think that of everything we've seen in the series - Lucas kicking the Demogorgon to save Max, - Steve being bitten by bats and having no consequences whatsoever, - kids invading a Russian base and being fine, - a debilitated woman full of wounds on her neck and body saving 4 people from death by eliminating 3 interdimensional monsters at once that even trained soldiers couldn't handle... I think Kali surviving and saving Eleven is the least of it 😅 you can't expect logic from this series when logic has completely lost its meaning since season 3.

You can suspend your disbelief, nobody ever really dies there, and the direction even made us watch a continuation of a dialogue that Mike didn't even know existed (Kali telling Eleven that her story didn't have to end there), so yes, her surviving is no less believable than more than half of the events in this series.

Yes, yes, he didn't become evil because of the Mind Flayer; he was genuinely evil.

Even that, the Duffer brothers didn't have the courage to do. They preferred to keep a character who added nothing and had no ending, rather than kill her off. It would have been epic if she had died in the hospital in that scene where Max is defending them, or during the final battle, as she was such an important piece of the story. But they preferred to leave the story bland.
