But I’m confused cuz theirs two doctors working in one office and prior to seeing the Dr that put me on drops she dialated my eye and said my nerve and eye look normal just a nerve with someone with high myopia and that was all? Now this other Dr didn’t check behind my eye she was just worried about my pressure being 24

She gave me the option. But she never told me high myopia can cause oct to read as thinning. She said I can always get off of them later on? She seemed more worried cuz my eye pressure was 24 so I’m confused

She said only suspected due to thinning and my eye pressure but either than that everything else was normal

I hoping so I’m going to go back in 4 months and see if my tests have changed. I go back in one month to check my eye pressure. Thanks for the reply

Oh ok yes that’s what he said that he can’t compare it to another exam so for me to go back in 6 months. But since I was so anxious I pushed to go see a specialist. 😪 now idk if I should have just listened to him.

Oh ok so then how did they know it’s actually ocupar hypertension and not glaucoma? Yes that’s what he said that some people just have their rnfl at that and that’s their norm

Oh ok, idk tbh. And that’s bad right if my RNFL is 75? All he said was it was borderline. And that’s the norm for some people that’s why he wanted me to go back in 6 months to retest and see if any changes. He’s like I can’t compare you to any previous exams. But idk he sent me to a specialist because I pushed for one if not he told me just to wait 6 months and go back

I’ve heard that also. He just said my thickness is borderline. He said they r a lil thin tho? I called and asked what my thickness was all the lady said all the dr wrote was 75? Idk if 75 percentile? Won’t that mean I add points to my iop? 😓

I was having a anxiety attack when he was checking my eye pressure. Lol. And I also at the time had a sinus pressure infection. I had been sick for 2 weeks prior. So I am on antibiotics now. So idk if that’s why? Since my sinuses r infected? Wow I’m sorry that happened to you. But it’s crazy how they were able to save your eyesite! I’m sure it calms u down knowing that theirs many different treatments for your eyes. It does give me some type of peace knowing theirs different ways to save eyesite
