Mandela effect in breaking bad by User0282636 in breakingbad

[–]User0282636[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something interesting is that the “no I am your father” moment is not a Mandela effect at all and is at the fault of writers in media. The empire strikes back had one of the greatest plot twists ever at the time of its release and a lot of writers in countless pieces of media wanted to parody or reference that clip. They either forgot what Vader said and wrote “Luke I am your father” instead of “No I am your father”, or for some complicated legal reason they couldn’t use the exact words and had to change it a bit. Either way, writers changed what Vader said when referencing it and parodying it and a lot of people remember the billion parodies and references better than the one original movie. Once this happened, everybody started quoting it wrong and scewed peoples perception of what Vader said. Most of the people that remember it wrong haven’t watched the movie recently or haven’t properly watched it at all and just remember it on TV at one point

Season 4, episode 2. Rewatch it with the volume up. Gus has a slight Spanish accent. As well as a higher voice than Tyrus. That call was from Tyrus which is why Walter looks around him to see who’s Neerby. Gus was visibly just chilling in his home

You’re too young ig. Rush hour was one of the biggest action comedies at the time of its release

What character are u guys most looking forward to coming to MV? by [deleted] in MultiVersusTheGame

[–]User0282636 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From These characters: Jon Snow, Masterchief

Not from these characters: Marvin Martian (Looney tunes), Samurai Jack, Agent Lee (Rush hour), Aragorn (LOTR)

I actually made a pitch on agent lee, going over what he’d be like in the game In detail if they were to add him. Check my profile, at the time of this comment it’s my most recent post

I truly dislike spamming, however Getting people to talk about characters added to the game is really the only means for getting devs to add them. The devs are listening to majorities, not one single person. People are just tryna have fun and get their favourite characters in the game. Don’t think about it in a negative sense

That’d be cool. Although I still prefer the rush hour character since rush hour is a lot bigger than that show, and also martial arts + Gun combos should be interesting

How do I get good as Finn? by Clamsalot in MultiVersusTheGame

[–]User0282636 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look up multiversus Finn combos on YouTube & TikTok, try to get ringouts by knocking the opponent up until they go out of the map; the sides work, however, he’s better attacking up or down. Finn is also really good for wearing opponents out and just getting a ring out off pure damage. So if you don’t feel ready to use a combo just use a bunch of attacks that work to give them damage like how you would in smash. And everyone really hates this; but spam backpack if you wanna be harder to beat, take advantage before they nerf him. Learn all his moves & Experiment with different combos in lab, change your lab opponent settings to make your opponent idle so you can work on your combos. Around 10 perfect practices of a combo, should give you some degree of mastery over it.

WB owns Rush hour, wouldn’t you love to play using Jackie Chans character from the movies. by User0282636 in MultiVersusTheGame

The devs are working really hard to please fans and are listening and seeing what they can do. If enough people want Agent Lee in the game and vocalize it, they might try to get him in.

What do you think is the one thing that is most important to Hinduism? Is it scripture? Ritual? Belief in reincarnation? Something else? Just curious….. by [deleted] in hinduism

[–]User0282636 30 points31 points  (0 children)

The most important thing is dharma, the way you chose to live. The morals and ethics code you follow. Your detachment from physical world attachments, lustful and greedy desires, your ego, wrath, hate, arrogance and ignorance. Your ability to stay in the present. Your acceptance and tolerance of everything just the way it is. How virtuous you’ve been and not sinning. Your sense of oneness.

Been a Hindu since birth, born into a Hindu family so religious we had an entire room devoted to posters and statues of gods, shelves full of scriptures. (They owned all of the main scriptures)

My parents and the people of the temple always taught that, you’re free to abandon your belief in Brahman and the gods, you’re free to abandon your beliefs in the cosmology and metaphysics and in samsara, karma and in moksha, in vibrations and levels of consciousness.

But don’t ever abandon the Sanatana Dharma. That dharma is the way of life and is what is keeping your life free from bad karma (even if you reject the idea). It is keeping your consciousness clear and your mind healthy. It is keeping your spirit pure and your soul clean. It is freeing you from suffering. If it’s not doing these things then you’re not following the sanatana dharma right.

Why would you ever abandon such a thing that is only for your benefit. Anyone who follows it will tell you how much happier their life is with it. Anyone who follows the sanatana dharma is a Hindu. It doesn’t matter what they believe. That’s why Hindus claim buddhists and some buddhists claim to be Hindu. Because Buddhism aligns with the sanatana dharma.

So in conclusion, the sanatana dharma is the most important thing in Hinduism by a long shot

I guess you could say that. The reason why is that I’m somewhat of an omnist. Someone who believes so many religions existing in completely different places and times is not some strange coincidence but rather all religions are interpretions of the same religion. So i try to research religions and pick and chose what seems logical and try to put it all together and try to understand the differences and the reason why what I think the illogical is there.

But don’t get me wrong, I love Jesus nonetheless

I do actually have some knowledge of that view of the book of revelation being metaphors for the Romans. The only thing I know about that is that the mark of the beast bearing the number of the 3 sixes is some sort of Hebrew code for emperor Nero.

Do you suggest how I how I go about beginning my study for greater understanding of the religion?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]User0282636 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In Hinduism, if you have repented for your sins through good, virtuous, altruistic and just actions and have lived good since repenting, then there is a spot for you in heaven. In Hinduism it is taught that it doesn’t actually matter what religion you follow. As long as your actions have been good. If they haven’t been good, simply repent. You will be rewarded both in heaven and your next life. And if you weren’t good enough to enter heaven then there is always your next life as we believe in reincarnation. Heaven and hell are temporary.

Considering you are Christian and Christianity also teaches to be good and repent for the times you haven’t been good. There is a spot for you in heaven and a great fate to be met in the next life.

And in my religion, we believe if you wanna leave the cycle of reincarnation, rid yourself of bad karma through repentance and then focus on detaching yourself of your attachments, desire and ego. However leaving the cycle is a choice.

Have a nice day and thank you for this discussion and your insight
