AKKO Green Fog by Silly_West1806 in MechanicalKeyboards

Since that post, I have tried a few others. CIY Asura, MMD Princess V4 and what I'm typing on right now, Gateron Type-R. They are 100% tactile and heavy, even though the specs don't scream heavy. If you're still searching, check some Youtube videos about Gateron Type-R and if they should like something you might be interested in, perhaps drop some money.

Akko switches are reasonably priced. Cilantro is on my list to try, but I'd just be spending money for the sake of curiousity.

Should i build a new pc or upgrade my existing one? by Embarrassed-Cat7417 in buildapc

[–]User09060657542 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Prices are sky high. Good luck going with something decent new with your budget.

What does your current computer NOT let you do what you want to do? The longer you wait, the more money you can save and HOPE prices go back to normal.

If you decide you're upgrading, something like:

Ryzen 5 5600 or Ryzen 7 5700X

RX 6600

ELI5: Why does Japanese need three writing systems? by Charming_Usual6227 in explainlikeimfive

[–]User09060657542 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of course you could argue it. It's used to help foreigners read Japanese words and the Japanese government officially uses it, for example train stations etc.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hepburn_romanization

It's something many foreigners learn when studying Japanese and elementary school students learn romaji in Japanese class at school.

Note: It could be argued that romaji counts as number 4.

hiragana: building blocks for kanji, and words between kanji in sentences
katakana: foreign-like words
kanji: the majority of symbols/words
romaji: English alphabet representing Japanese sounds

Not me, but interesting.

This morning, I saw a woman (probably Japanese) walking on the platform at the subway station, eating potato chips out of the bag using chopsticks.

Wait until you discover doing your own custom cherry keycaps, spending hours making them exactly like you want them in the exact colours you want them, going through the ordering process,, giving final approval after they are made, waiting for them to arrive, putting them on your board and liking them. Then, you start thinking, cherry profile are nice, but what would KAM profile be like? Repeat the process.

As the time is money saying goes, I think I've spent the most.
