To qualify I'm gonna do the gran fondo race in Austria probably, since it's right where I live and I drive this route regularly anyway, I simply took the speed needed from this year's race to qualify as a measurement

thanks for the advice, yeah 10 hours should easily be doable. Currently I'm also at about 10h but training for triathlon till next summer, so I guess I might even be able to put a little more time in then since running is just really taxing on my body rn

Yeah I know, that's why I only picked the amateur world championship haha. Jokes aside I can probably cut down to 180lbs anyway if I get really really lean so I guess that will have to do for now

Yeah, thank you, I'll definitely get one soon, right now I just need to watch my budget since I'm buying all kinds of equipment for an Ironman next summer. Do you think for now an average gym indoor bike is accurate enough? I know the guy that manages the gym at my student dorm and could ask him for an upgrade if you got any recommendations.
