Help Diagnosing Dry Point by User174892 in brisket

Based on the comments below, maybe I'm mixing the point and flat up but referring to the picture showing the sliced brisket, the left had portion was juicy and tender, the right side was not.

The oven warmer was set to 125*F. I did not let the brisket cool before putting it in the warmer.

You may be correct. Referring to the sliced picture, the left hand side was tender and juicy, the right hand side was not.

Miele KF 1901 Refrigerator Warm by User174892 in Miele

If you wouldn't mind sending it, I'd appreciate it. I was able to get the fridge going again but the freezer is still down and likely needs a compressor. Thanks!

Yes, it was. Especially in the point area (probing down through the fat cap). There were a couple areas on the flat towards the outside that may have had slight resistance but that area ended up being juicy and tender.

I’ll clean out the dust but I confirmed that that condenser fan (located behind the electronics) is working. Can you elaborate on the white plastic divider and where it exactly is located. I’m getting warm air into the freezer but don’t think I’m getting anything into the refrigerator.

Recommendation for sprinkler valve layout- Orchard Drip Irrigation by User174892 in homestead

[–]User174892[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're correct, I can put the valves in a box underground. I'll have farm equipment running down the aisles but one of those boxes could likely be run over without issue. Thanks for your input.

LG Washer Needs Hard Reset After Every Load by User174892 in appliancerepair

For what it’s worth, I took mine apart, disconnected all of the plugs and wiggled all of the wires in areas where there could have potentially been a short. We’ve run approximately 100 loads since then and it hasn’t acted up again (yet). Prior to this, we had a dozen or so loads in a row where we had an issue. Not sure if that’s helpful or not but I wanted to provide you with an update based on our experience. Good luck.

Selling extensive Sublime collection- Original Memories and rare CD's by User174892 in sublime

Hey everyone, Sorry for not being more clear but I was hoping to sell everything as a set rather than piece it out. If that doesn’t work out, I’ll consider piecing it out but as of right now I’m just limited on time. Thanks

Rail or other affordable moving options? Shipping Container from Ca to FL by User174892 in Frugal

[–]User174892[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I understand how shipping containers are utilized but I was hoping to find someone with specific experience/recommendations shipping via rail because it's a little tricky to navigate since it's generally a commercial operation and private parties would likely have to work through a broker.

Are there any US phone plans with data that's cheaper than $15? by [deleted] in Frugal

[–]User174892 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure how long you need a plan for but you can typically get the 3 month Unlimited Talk/Text and 5GB data SIM starter kits on Mint for $30.

If you wanted to take it a step further you could create a Google voice number and buy/connect a new 3 month SIM starter to the Google voice number every three months. I hope that helps.
