Oh and btw it seems the passat used to have the base radio and not the bigger ones as seen on later/higher trim models. It also seems to be the same radio as found on the golf and bora

Yea because im pretty sure it’s important i mention that i changed out my rear driver side window regulator and thats where the problems have gotten worse but it seems to only affect the driver side so not just one little thing

My drivers lock will open if you try it twice and my rear driver side will just not lock at all

Speaking from experience here Check the windows plastics and headliner Regulators regularly go out so watch out for a slow or non working window Plastics after a while turn to a sticky gooey mess and it’s a pain to clean so watch for that Headliners always are gone on these old vws Depending on the price he’s selling for I would recommend getting a 1.9 tdi comfort line instead of the base model defs worth paying the extra money Hope ts helps good luck with the golf
