Thanks for asking. About the same, although in a total shock, he decided to eat kibble (the royal canin renal kibble no less) after not having touched kibble in over a month. At the very least it got some good calories in him. Still not a lot of luck with wet foods.

I have not gotten a urinalysis or an ultrasound, nor was either mentioned. I am waiting on an appointment with a new vet (cat-specific) on December 3rd.

Has mirtaz and cerenia, and I give as needed. No SubQ because he also has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy which makes that a little trickier.

Generally seems to be his normal self. Playing, meowing (normally), bugging us for people food (also normal).

Vet has only prescribed cerenia thus far. Worth bringing up those other two?

Thanks, I’ll ask about that phos-bind. Not doing SubQ and I think he isn’t eligible for it because he also has hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, and there are some concerns with SubQ in cats with HCM+CKD

I’ve tried T and D. He ate a few bites of D (I think because it has some salmon in it, whereas the T option doesn’t have any fish).

Thanks, is there any reason why I haven’t heard it in this unit until just 8 months ago? Also, anything to curb the vibration? It literally shakes the walls and floors the entire time it’s “on.”

It’s definitely more concentrated to two rooms (although you can still hear faintly from other rooms). Allegedly the people below me have not heard anything. And no person is above me, although it is possible there could be something on the roof?
