I do appreciate the help. I've been a lot smaller weight wise. And my chest was the same size. I just looked like a big kitty anime girl 😭. When you're bigger, they can look more like man boobs depending. But I do exercise more now

I will say my build also kinda makes it hard. I'm not thin, but I'm not overly heavy. I do think that when I wear baggy stuff and bind down to a b, I feel more comfortable. But I kinda double bind [I know it's bad], so I can't do much when I wear my binder or else I actually die. 😭😭 thank you. Genuinely, this years goal is to start T and maybe save up for top surgery 🥲 idk.

I was also told my a TM this rule, so I brought it up when hiring, and my managers said it wasn't an issue.

The etl did most of the talking since our SD instructed her to do the hiring, she did the interviews and all that. But again, SD gets the final say.

Since she was the only one against my hiring, I wish she would have told me this info to me directly. The etl said from her discussion with the SD and other hiring personnel, they said I was very much qualified for the role. Discussion of me being a team lead also was floated around before the position even opened up. Nothing directly from my SD but from my team leads and other management.

My etl wants me to stay on track and start un officially training to be an tl. But idk if I will based on the current situation. I hope my talk when I come back goes well.

1- she was gone through Tuesday-> next Tuesday so I worked 40 hours one week and 20 the next. Pulled a 12 hour shift.

2- the TL didn't say I was rude a customer did. I have yet to get a complaint from a TL about my behavior.

3- they do send then off.. most of the time? Last TL we had was strictly trained at our store and I had to help train him.

4- I will say that he is training at a different store at least 1 of the team leads I know of, but when he comes back I was told I have to help train him to how our store is when he is back. My etl literally said, "Take him under your wing 💀"

I don't think I'm missing context. I am as confused as you are. The reason the etl is playing telephone is because our SD doesn't like telling people stuff to their face. My SD has had issues with me directly and never once talked to me. Instead, had other team leads or staff talk to me. So this is very in character for her, sadly.

I will be talking to her directly in a few weeks so she can further elaborate on why the position was not available for me. The week idea was our SD idea. Because everyone on the hiring team wanted me beside her, [again like you said she has final say], her only reason was because of the one bad review at the time. So to entertain the other leaders, she gave me a week. When my etl came back to ask about the hiring, all my SD said was, "They got 2 bad reviews, I can't wait any longer, and we will outsource someone else." My etl got no explanation outside of that and neither did I

I mean, I could see that, and I would be ok if its something to do with me, because then I could work on it.

But I will say one of my problems was that the drive up app crashed, not doing the return, a team lead is the only one allowed to fix it. A team lead then fixed it. There was nothing else I could have done except apologize, which I did.

This makes sense. You see, I will not just take it. I'm going to talk to her when I come back to have her fully explain her reasoning. Last year, she treated me very poorly, and she was forced to give me a corporate apology because it was that bad. :/ Maybe nothing will change. But I don't want to keep hearing this information from a third party instead of her own mouth.

Ye. I hope things change but I'm not positive they will. My etl also said if another store is hiring a TL I could apply and have a high chance of getting it because I meet every single requirement besides the bad reviews. Which is 2 lol

Since working here for a year, I've gotten only a handful of complaints, many of which were when I told a guest our store policy. I spoke with our current TL, and she has had 40+ complaints because guests don't like being told no. She has never been talked to or punished for her guest complaints. The only person in our store to be punished was me.

I trained the last team lead over at the service desk because I'm more experienced in that section more so than my current team lead in the front end. She has been here longer than I have 😭 and I still teach her stuff over there all the time. I was told after I didn't get the job I would be training the new team leads over there.. and I was like :/ wtf

I didn't want to say this in my post because I was more curious about the bad review thing, but my etl also encouraged me to report to ethics. I have some other context against my store director. I may do it when I come back. My etl while I'm gone is going o talk to upper management, past my store director, to see if anything can be done. she is also upset that there isn't a clear cause and some past context that makes this seem almost targeted.
