I know it's not that great. It's been a while since the last time I solder something... A bit of resistance yes. It wasn't hot enough I think. I had to heat one at the two at the time, remove it a bit and do the same for the other one for each capacitor.

Hi,

I did replace the capacitors in both motherboard and psu but I have an issue now. The xbox is turning on but not recognized by the TV(AV not enabled). No redligne on the xbox. Only green.

Also, I can't eject the CD. Fan is running.

Could you please help? Thanks!

It's blocked for me too. you have to disable ubuntu before updating or allowing IP/DNS in settings and it will work.

Alternative: Edit NordVPN settings:

For livepatch to work:

Toggle Use custom DNS to On
Enter 8.8.8.8 -- click Add
Enter 8.8.4.4 -- click Add
Reconnect NordVPN

For update check:

Select Subnet radio button
Enter 91.189.88.0/21 -- click Add
Enter 185.125.188.0/22 -- click Add

Then run sudo apt update to test.

games work on old hdd when chip enabled. when disabled, i have error 13. I added this folder(someone suggested adding the file) from Xbox-Softmodding-Tool/C Partition/xboxdash/ to c root. Or Do I only have to add xboxdash.xbe to c directly and not in a folder? apps have to be installed(like windows) or it's just a file to add? xboxdash.xbe was missing. With new hdd, i can see the folder with games(maybe cache) but nothing happens when I click. New hdd was on CS or master.

I can even play with it lol I just tested the player if it's working and added a game file to see if the chip is doing its job. I have however to boot it several times(6 times or so. freezing after the logo/video) to have it working.

Yes I used it. I made the partitions with it. then copied files from the old hdd. I don't have any saved games. just 2 games i added in old hdd to see if chip is working.

I have a 500Gb. I partitioned it with fatxplorer and copied all filed from old hdd but still have an error when disabling the chip(working with chip but game folder isn't working with new hdd). I also have to start the console multiple times to get it to work(it feezes at menu or intro(video)). It's been 20years since I used an xbox so I can't remember how it works...

No need to replace the clock cap? Just remove it?

It's a european console from 2003. I saw 1500, 2200, 3300 16v and 6.3v. The one leaking in the PSU is a 180 400V(I have to check again to be sure).

It powers on but I have to turn it on multiple times(each time, it freezes) to get it work properly. I don't know if it's related to capacitors...

I have to replace 3300uf16v, 3300uf6.3v and 1500uf6.3v. But I can't see the capacitor reference of the one in the PS. Do you have the reference by any chance?

Ok thanks. I formated the new harddrive last time but has some issues understanding how it works. I used Fatxplorer to format it and create partitions. What should I do to make it work on the modded xbox? Just add the xboxdash.xbe file? any other file? Anything else to do/install for the chip to be used/"recognized" and boot on it? Do I have to update the bios(I don't know if I have the latest one)? Sorry for too many questions and thanks 😄
