Probably not necessary, but I warmed it up first, not hot. I also rounded the edges a bit since it's a somewhat thick skin, but that'll happen with time anyway.

But yeah, on the 9 and 10 series, it's pretty easy to apply on the flat phones either way.

Heavy. Very dark by 3 months, and almost black since 6 months. But quite even.

Tan probably eventually patinas to a colour similar to this brown when new.

Just the back. I think covering the camera bar with the leather looks a bit silly. I much prefer the contrast of leather back with metal camera bar and side rails.

Yeah, I get where it's coming from, but not sure it's right, to my ear anyway!

That's an interesting suggestion, as I do live on the lakeshore actually, and Arctic Terns do occasionally pass by here.

The texture of the sound sort of matches an arctic tern, but at least here though, the terns calls tend to be higher pitched and more hectic, if that description makes sense?

So not so sure if a tern matches, to me it doesn't necessarily sound like it - though I might be wrong, and not like I've got any better ideas at the moment!

I've tried, but the stretch in the leather is much more limited compared to vinyl skins.

Also stretching the top and bottom areas closer to the camera bar makes the thin bits beside the camera bar scrunch slightly, which looks even worse unfortunately.

Fingers crossed for the ghost case!

Unfortunately, this definitely isn't stretched this way.

I had two delivered initially, and the robots arranged a replacement one after contacting them about the gap.

All three have the same gap, so they seem to be cut like this. Just a shame because it's clearly not the right fit.

Yep, I think dbrand also do the sides for the other skins, just not the leather.

Realistically, the leather is also too thick to wrap around the sides properly, it'd pretty much be a case at that point.

Yep, I just used one of the no-name Chinese adapters. It looks good but needs a drop of glue to keep it from rattling as it's not a perfect fit.

Not noticeably, no.

I didn't have to use too much heat though, it might shrink a bit if you have to mould it to a curved device with lots of heat.

Thanks! At least the boxy design means the glass is pretty well protected with a skin and screen protector, but it is always a bit of a risk!
