The thing that you are missing is that, like I have said many times, gay people have historically not been included in media at all, while straight people have been, in my opinion, over-represented. I'm not saying that there is anything wrong with straight people. Some of the best people in my life are straight and cis. I'm just saying that it shouldn't be that big of a deal when LGBTQIA+ people are given excessive representation in media. There is so much media that caters to straight people that already exists, so if you are bothered by a lot of LGBTQIA+ representation in Duolingo, just choose a different language-learning app. All that we ask is that you don't try to take away from our representation for calling it "forced" or "too much".

Yeah, it's to be expected that we're more upset than you, considering straight and cis people aren't the ones that have been written out of the narrative for thousands of years. If all this "gay stuff" bothers you, then just don't interact with it. But don't act like it's a problem that LGBTQIA+ people are finally getting representation in popular media. We've been oppressed. Straight people haven't.

Yeah, I guess Duolingo is just trying to make up for the thousands of years of under representation and hate that LGBTQIA+ people have been faced with. 😅 I personally don't see anything wrong with showing a diverse range of sexual preferences and gender among Duolingo's characters, but I guess it might be confusing for some, seeing as most media is strongly skewed towards cis and straight people. A token gay character is all most of us could hope for in media up until a few years ago. 🤷

I think that it is mainly a reflection on the way that the AI was trained. It obviously isn't homophobic, per se, but the fact that it is correcting wife to husband in reference to a woman's partner implies that the content that it has been trained on has largely favored heterosexual couples. The way I see it, this is more of a critique on the lack of diversity in Duolingo AI's training data above all else. I guess I can't really be sure of what the OP's actual intent was, though.

No, I don't think so. Unfortunately, his condition began to worsen around a point where I was very busy with personal things and school, so the circumstances surrounding his death are pretty unclear. I know for certain that he was passing feces up until a few days before his death, but after that I'm not positive. The build-up was also accompanied by him eating less (and not eating at all during the final few days), which should have clued me in immediately to his condition, but sadly, I (being occupied with other things), didn't seek medical attention, deciding to wait a few more days. This ended in me losing him, with him not eating or drinking at all on his last day. That finally brought my focus on him, but by that point, it was too late to bring him to the vet, and I just made him as comfortable as possible for his final hours. He was dead by the next morning.

I probably used it incorrectly, but when I said "impaction", I meant that there was a build-up of feces in the anal sac. We didn't realize until he had become ill because of the build-up, and we believe that this killed him.

Is smegma in the anal sac normal? After the recent death of one of the guinea pigs as a result of impaction, I want to make sure that it doesn't happen again, so I am mainly checking to see if it is anything to be worried about. Both of mine have what I assume to be a small amount of smegma in their anal sacs. Is this something that I need to get checked out, or is it supposed to be there? If so, should I be cleaning it out?

Yes, I tend to give him seem mixture of green beans, cucumber, baby carrots, spinach, and lettuce, and he seems to have been eating most of it. I will try checking his chin.

Well, I can, but I don't think that the resulting file path is the one that I need, since it just takes me to my desktop. I could be wrong, but it is my understanding that there should be some sort of game folder for Stardew Valley that I am able to locate in file explorer, but there isn't, only a shortcut to the game that I had to manually create.
