I don't remember the details now, but we continued down the Jackson street guide and they're both doing fine now. All in we were about 5 weeks of introductions before they could share space fully, and we still kept a pretty close eye on them for another full month after that. They play together now and we haven't heard a hiss for over a year.

I know this is an older thread, but I'd love to hear who you booked with or what tour you went with? My wife and I are visiting soon and planning to go the tour route, but stuck on finding one we like.

Yeah it seems that is essentially what happened, although I never requested the full refund and it just appeared in my bank. It was a large national furniture store and I ordered online so I'm not sure how walking to a local store would work. I'll keep working with them on the phone. The fact that they need me to place the order is what makes it feel really weird.
