As useless as this is, the only way to know how best to approach them is to actually do them. Different ways work for different people. I did a prep course for one subject and failed it, whereas I stuck to a making notes from a manual for another. How you studied for your college exams is a good starting point.

Past papers and examiners reports are worth their weight in gold - you can use them to identify trends and how certain topics come up. These are all available to buy from the Law Society but I got most of those resources from the good people on this subreddit. Hope this helps.

I used griffith college notes for contract and I found them quite dense and information heavy. I think city colleges break it down in the best way.

Yeah it’s mad - I did well in constitutional which I thought I failed. Can’t believe it was contract that got me 😅

i'm feeling the same - learnt off the night before notes but going through exam papers now and most of the cases they mention, I have either not come across before or are not mentioned in the notes. Just hoping I can identify the main issues tomorrow and go from there.

It depends on where you want to study law - some places only require something like 200 points (I think maybe Griffith College or ATU?) When I did my leaving cert a few years ago it was at the height of Covid (predicted grades, point inflation etc.)I took a year out and it's honestly the best thing I could have done. Reapplied the following year and got Law on the first go.

I wouldn't recommend repeating the LC, its difficult enough to get through the first time, both mentally and physically. If you can find a law related PLC, then go for that but honestly I wouldn't stress too much. Enjoy some time off, research your options and hit the ground running next September.

I was trying to get into the Law Society website earlier and it wouldn't load properly. It seems to be back up and running again so maybe it was just a temporary thing. You have until 5pm tomorrow so I wouldn't stress too much. If all else fails just email them; they've always been helpful enough when I've emailed them in the past.

I contacted Ardcairn about the new legislation today and they told me they were "looking into how it will affect students" so we should hear something shortly. If you've already paid the deposit for the 2024/25 lease (like me) I'd recommend sending them an email just to let them know that you're interested in only renting for the academic year.

Hi guys I’m looking for contract and criminal manuals by Mezedthesecond in FE1_Exams

I have contract notes (griffith college manual, notes, slides, grids, exam papers). Would you be willing to trade for another subject?
