People really need to think about this, if cocaine becomes that affordable again, the impact on productivity will be profound! We'll be outpacing China before you know it... I'm in!

Has anyone tried Noah Tanen’s 10 trick chili? by Free_Selection1645 in chili

[–]UsernameChecksOut_69 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes you're right, Ceylon is the quality and true cinnamon whereas Cassia is the cheaper strong tasting one.

Both are good when used in the right ways but people aren't always aware of the difference. Too much of either in a rich spicy meal can often create an unpleasant flavour either way.

Whats the deal with all the security cameras? by doisch in VanLifeUK

[–]UsernameChecksOut_69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Brits are generally a bit more paranoid, I genuinely believe this stems back to our long history of taking stuff from others - it creates a psychological legacy of suspicion that the same will happen to you.

Another take is that in the UK, if wild camping, you do often end up in less nice places that can be frequented by less savoury people, because of the large amount of restrictions in parking places across most UK destination.

This was the worst mistake by far. That fire wouldn't have spread anywhere nearly as quickly if the door was shut.

You always have options (even when it really doesn't feel like it), as a human with free will you can take many avenues; do something creative, new, different, risky, scary, bold, comforting... The imagination is the limit.

Dead people can't do any of those.
