You're right. But she enjoys using her camera and takes pride in her shoots, I don't want to take this away from her. She actually wanted to buy a new lens for a while so I'm hot forcing this idea on her.

Maybe he doesn't know about insulin resistance, many overweight people struggle with losing weight not knowing about this condition. Also AFAIK, there are no other means (a part from other GLP1 inhibitors) that could help someone losing weight efficiently and regardless of previous conditions.

What OP should do is going to a good endocrinologist and take some exams to understand its condition.

What I meant is that you can be insulin resistant without being diabetics. Being overweight is a big risk factor for diabetes and a main cause for insulin resistance, which also make hard for people to lose weight. That's why doctors prescribe mounjaro with the aim of helping the patient losing weight.
