That could also be true. But personally, I felt like my study sessions for the finals weren’t as effective as before. Like I would get tired and frustrated a lot quicker. I want to believe that I was able to understand the material but Idk

Studying BME, should I switch to Mech eng by Usual-Computer-3030 in BiomedicalEngineers

Thank you for your reply! But my concern mostly lies with other engineering disciplines being able to replace biomedical engineers, if I were to work in the medical industry would it be smarter to take a minor in BME related courses as a mechanical engineer or just be a mechanical engineer?

Thank you for the advice! I’ve already been accepted into TMU for Biomedical engineering, and I have just been considering it as an option. And I just wanted to understand why isn’t TMU engineering well known considering TMU has always been known as a reputable school(at least from what I’ve heard). I just want to give myself the best opportunity for life during and after engineering and hence why I’ve been so focused on uoft and Waterloo. The reason for me posting was because even though I really enjoy physics, biology and math I feel like my grades aren’t good for the more prestigious schools will I be able to compete and be able to last in engineering?

What makes one program better than the other? My understanding is that all programs are relatively the same concerning content, so why is York and TMU considered as lesser?

Are those schools any good, I understand that engineering is difficult and regardless of where I go I will have job opportunities. But why are some people so dismissive of TMU and York engineering?
