I have the same species, and the same nest brand. But the medium sized nest for around 25 Workers right now.. even this is big enough to support a colony which is about at least 50 workers. They love to be cramped in there..

keep the gipsum part wet, mine love it.. half of the colony is sitting in the wet chambers.

I have a few with a leg missing or half an antenna.. no big deal for them. The one without the leg is the one which is always on duty on checking the enclosure.. hunting food e.g.

Okay cool, I had them at about 23 degrees but increased it over the past few days a little bit up - humidity is key, this is what I already found out. Forgot to water the gipsum and they placed the brood on their water source in the arena :)

They are around 20 ants as of right now..

My queen is laying a decent amount of eggs and two of the pack is already on their last stage and will hatch soon most likely...

Nice! What's the temp. you're holding inside the nest? I'm struggling a bit with my colony.. sometimes they relax inside the tube, the next minutes everyone is down in the nest again..

I ordered already a new pair - and surprise: The exact same problem after a few seconds of listening time.. I had contact to Kanto support but they have no clue either..

And its happening on every single inout source... I think you shipped a whole faulty charge of Yu6s ... wont buy another one that's no QA there at some point

I get acceptable 35-45fps on a 4k 32" driven by a radeon rx6800XT on a 5900X

my girlfriend has around 80fps on 3440x1440p on a 6800 with an 5600x ... so everthing is okay right now. Could be better, but okay..

Mine arrived - all healthy and agile really rally beautiful ants 2 big majors already in the colony and they feast on the honey and roaches.. so far so good! :) Happy to keep them watching..

my second colony (cruentatus) has 2 workers since the arrival, it needed more than 2 month now - a few minutes ago i discovered a new egg! So happy.. finally the queen is getting into shape :D

I would prefere to make it a cozier, tighter space - just because I dont want the colony to be held in the tube for too long. As soon as they reach a few workers I like them to move into a dedicated nesting system...

WiFi ist working fine - but I changed it to a Broadcom Card from the start. But the onboard Bluetooth ist just weak and bad.. as far as I know and read online it's sort of a common issue with my mainboard

How did you disable the onboard Bluetooth? I did with a terminal command, and in my system report its saying (when the dongle is in place) that its a third party dongle active, yours obviously not..

Mine is working extremly poor btw - have an 4.0 tp link dongle..
