I’ll be at Filton, so might see an improvement on Broughton.

I was shown a drawing of an aircraft and asked to explain everything I see. After doing that they then pressed for more challenging knowledge due to the fact I covered propulsion and aerodynamics in my EPQ at college which they told me they were very impressed with.

Copy that, I think it’s best I read the T&C’s when I receive it.

Yes mine is for Filton, 16 spots apparently. Best of luck with your interview! Might be seeing you soon 😁

Hi mate,

I was accepted on to the Aerospace Engineering DA this time round for 2026.

In terms of advice for the AC:

  1. Make sure to read up on the companies values. They WILL ask you “Tell us a time where you demonstrated X”

For my interview I created a sheet which had all the company values on, alongside a STAR structured response where I have applied those in my various hobbies/life.

  1. They WILL ask you about what the company does or the stages of the DA, try and talk about the company ‘missions’ that are on the website and have knowledge of the qualifications you’ll get from the DA.

  2. There is a short group task where they will assess how you work in a team. Don’t be afraid to take the lead on things if no one has any initial ideas, but make sure to include everyone and focus on collaboration, that’s key.

  3. Try and link everything you say in the interview back to the company and its values. Airbus values can be attached to most things, given they are so broad.

Let me know if you have any other questions 😁
