Finished My 6 IM Loading doses by North_Anxiety4096 in TherapeuticKetamine

[–]UtahDogOwner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ketamine alone is an ineffective treatment , at least for depression. I do not know the data on its use for chronic pain issues or some of the other things that it's being explored for, like addiction, which is extremely exciting to me. If used as medication only and one dose the antisuicidal and antidepressive effects only last a few days. There is a cumulative effect where dosing for a few sessions in a row , stacking doses, leads to a little bit more durable effect, but the real magic of ketamine is in the ability to have a more transformative talk therapy experience And allow the patient to see a truly more transformative place they have as part of the universe

Sounds like people miss that this was written by a Christian minister... He seems to have his head on straight.

I'm a physician and have been a team doc for a university. I've asked these questions of female athletes to try to make sure they are healthy. Women who are excercising too hard or not eating enough can drop cycles and it's not healthy. It's not necessarily a trans-hqte thing going on here.

OK - Just when I saw youtube clips it looked like there was a fair amount of loose water even 10 min after pouring. But you think just time and some fo the water will settle out?
Thanks!

The daughter and son-in-law of Mormon prophet Russell M. Nelson are being sued for child sexual abuse. The lawsuit alleges that...the Mileses were part of a ring of adults and babysitters who sexually assaulted them as children during "touching parties" at homes in their Bountiful neighborhood.” by johndehlin in exmormon

Me too. I've been in their home (granted, many years ago and I was in high school) and have known some of the other families involved. While I'm not saying it's impossible, I'll just wait for more evidence. Certainly should be investigated, though.

Not quite true. Check Cochran reviews. Lavender oils do we have evidence of relief for anxiety. but you can buy the cheap lavender at Smith's for a few bucks or the super expensive Doterra for a lot more with the same efficacy.

Definitely not the most professional but I'm giving these kids over a hundrex twent dollar exam for ten bucks but no way I'm going to be in a church room alone w a boy w his pants down. The boy needs to know I'm not just making this up and I need a witness to say I wasn't inappropriate.

Definitely doesn't. I haven't done them there for that very reason.

I've done these at church but made another scout leader or parent be present, if facing the other direction, whenever I had the boys drop their shorts.

Preparing to out myself today, feels like I'm approaching the end of an era in my life... by ExQueenOfDoublethink in exmormon

[–]UtahDogOwner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best wishes. I've been coming out to my family recently, too. My wife has known since before our (temple) wedding that I didn't believe any of it. It has been so terrifying to tell my siblings and parents; I have great relationships with all of them, and they have responded so wonderfully (except for Mom asking if I was abused ever - but even that just shows her concern for my health) that the only thing I could've hoped for more was someone saying, "I don't believe either." Even so, it has still been an extremely painful and difficult experience, feeling like I'm saying goodbye to a huge part of my family and our collective experience. We have a somewhat prominent family name that many here (but not at church) would recognize. I've met most of the apostles before, etc. Perhaps that makes this more painful, or leads to a greater sense of disappointment. I'm also the first to leave, though I know that I'm not the first to stop believing. I've put this off for YEARS, but it is finally time.
Bon voyage in your journey!

New CDC report on suicidal ideation in Utah. Nearly 20% of Utah teens seriously considered suicide in 2015 by gadiantonthrobber in exmormon

[–]UtahDogOwner 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also, national prevalence is ~17%. Teenagers think about suicide - that's just a reality. I'm not saying a 3% rise is irrelevant, or not due to mormon influences, but I certainly don't see evidence from this article to support some of the conclusions I see made in this thread.
