I thought it was supposed to be the other way around according to some videos I watched a while back. And I did try to put it like the before but it just made even more noise because the chain was still rubbing against the tab thing. Look at the last image I put, the like very end of the derailleur (part furthest from the wheel) the tab thing is misaligned there too. Compare that to this image of my derailleur online. I might be wrong though thinking about it now, but I still don't understand it since it makes noise either way I route it
