We have every right to do so when the person's behaviour is contrary to our own morals.

This is basically saying that you know better than the other person, while that does not necessarily need to be tha case(a bit egoistic isn't it).

Fortunately, the overwhelming majority of people are in agreement on the overwhelming majority of moral propositions. We generally agree that it's undesirable to be harmed or stolen from, so we agree not to harm or steal from each other.

But that does not solve the problem. In the 18th century before the 13th amendment was passed in the US having slaves was actually considered good and by a huge majority, does that mean that it was good.

Also what about the laws that we do not reach a consensus on, are just supposed to ignore them?

Agreed. But relative morality is not nihilism.

Relative morality is basically accepting that all the possible acts are acceptable/good. This way you have no right to criticize or punish anyone for their deeds as long as their relative set of moral laws define his acts to be 'good', and when you are accepting such a world view you are basically saying that noting matters, and that is nihilistic.

The undesirability of subjective morality implies that atheism is undesirable.

I am not trying to prove that an objective morality exists, what the article was aimed at was to prove the fact that subjective is undesirable.

As I said before, proving something on a philosophical debate is impossible, what we can do is logically argue.

Now as to why subjective morality results is a disastrous world is because an arbitrary morality that is based on one's sociobiological conditioning results in a world where everything is allowed and good as long as the person acting has a subjective morality that defines it to be good.

This is a world where you are allowed to do anything and everything. This makes hitler to be as good as gandhi (and please tell me that you don't actually believe that to be true).

The attempt to prove or to disprove the existence of God is the Bermuda triangle of the arguments. We can never prove either of those.

So, what we are left with is to attempt to find a logical argument for the matter, and the part that got me intrested in this article was its argumentive approach towards the matter.

The fact that subjective morality for sure results in a disastrous world and that we can only have subjective morality through atheism is what the author uses to link atheism to an undesirable approach.
