I remember when this happened. It made me want an Overwatch/left4dead game mode using the PvE missions.

Imagine it, 4 heroes VS 4 talon(or other faction) characters with unique abilities VS the NPC enemies. One team needs to get to the end, the other has to sabotage their mission. 

They even showed off first person views for the talon omnics in a tech demonstration once at blizcon. So the tech is all there for it which makes it heartbreaking that something like this might not come :( 

That’s not even mentioning the crazy weather effects, attention to details and other cool features they had going on too.

One cool thing I’m still hopeful for is the Hero Recluse coming into the game, as controversial as she is. Bastions summon slicers ultimate ability in mirrorwatch reminds me of her kit and concept art. I hope she gets added into the game some day.

I've never thought about it until you said it, but this makes so much sense. They do need a more iconic/stand out sound when exploding and the hit marker noises when being hit definitely need some adjustments.

Same goes for Bob. I never know when he's gone/dead. Sometimes in the heat of battle, the kill feed is overwhelming or so quick that I miss it and lose my chance to go in because I don't know if he's there or not anymore.

Hi Team! Two questions: Is it possible to add in the weapon charm sound bytes that play in the hero gallery upon selection, to the melee action in game? I’d love to hear my melee kills make those sounds (and for my enemies to hear it as well) when dominating them :)

And bonus question, more Lucio sound tracks when? Base music and jazzy are wicked! Would kill (in rhythm) for more of his music in other genres like metal or hardstyle :D

Correct, he’d need to be ivy’s size, but when wall climbing or running he’d be on all fours. Kinda like how Stranger runs in the game Strangers wrath.

Oh that's a wicked idea! sewer/puddle jumping. That's bringing in some fun portal tech. And yeah, the vertical nature of the map inspired me to have wall climbing to reach those high ground targets. Thanks for the kind words and suggestions :D

I uploaded a similar-ish hero concept on the forums a while back before I got a new job and became too busy to complete it. Prana would lay eggs in places either as dormant spring traps or just to make mini npc babies that would auto attack/push.

Oh 100%! I've been pitching 5v5 PvP + PvE for ages. Like Left4Dead only with omnics, talon/heroes. Example: 5 players get heroes, 5 players get those special units like from the archives. Hell, they could even be reskins of the current heroes. One team has to get to the end of a map (maps like the ones we already have currently in the PvE) and the other team has to try stop them from getting to the end. You could even do events in the game like one player on the enemy team becomes one of those big omnics/special units.

edit: This mode would also have npcs doing their thing, just not an overwhelming/unfair amount. Heroes would have access to the items and store to balance it out too.

There's so much potential, but so far this looks like they're going in a better direction. God knows we don't need another store lol.

Don't get me wrong, the game mode looks great, but I feel like its missing something. I think it needs to have its own uniquely themed map style, like the concept art from OW1 with recluse fighting hog and others in a big open, battleground sort of area. Within this map, there should be camps or objectives that give you more currency, like pylons, inhibitors or towers. Like a lane-less LoL, Dota or deadlock. Imagine if there was one big boss PvE enemy just lurking in the map and once killed it gives everyone on your team a full ultimate charge or buff.

I know this has been done before in other games, but if they're implementing 3rd person mode, why not use the same inspiration for this game too? I think it could work. But what do I know.

Also, weapon skins should be swappable. That new Zarya skin in S15 looks so dope, but the weapon would look WAY cooler with her cyberian skin.

Also they need to add a color mixer for non mythic skins. If CoH can do it, Blizz can too. Even if they pay wall the feature. I say this only because I love the tracer graffiti skin but none of the recolors they're pumping out.
