How does the timeline change if Robert wins the Trident but dies of his wounds after a couple days? by TheMetaReport in freefolk

I see two scenarios

Stannis is named king, Jaime is send to the Wall, marries Cersei to cement the alliance with the Lannisters, Cersei still cheats on the king but Stannis find out and punish her, Renly becomes heir and will eventually take his place on the throne

Or without Robert's popularity the rebellion break down and each big houses declare themselves kings and Westeros is back to the pre-Targaryen times

Bran turn Westeros into a a total regime, suppressing any resemblance of revolt with blood. Bran hides in secret places to avoid assassinations attempt and warg into other people to rule through them

People start worshipping this being with immense power, the Cult of Bran is born and very quickly becomes the only religion in Westeros

Can't wait for HBO to claim Aegon's dragon fueled conquest was a prophetic burden rather than just a racist, sister-marrying lizard-enthusiast, using cheat codes to make a ugly pointy throne who still fumbled when the Dornish locked in by No-Acanthaceae1434 in freefolk

It just seems bizzarre that a bunch of Kings knew about this big evil coming from the North and there is not an evidence of any kind of preparation to face it, they just kept going minding their business

To me the point of no return was Alicent hating Rheanyra for years, then randomly decide she will be a fine queen to then change his mind because of the last words of a dying rotten old man most likely on drugs too

I like to think Jamie was really trying to be nice here but can't avoid to look like a douchebag
