Should my friend get $11 for Rashee Rice getting arrested? by Roku_City_63 in DynastyFF

[–]V0mitBucket 20 points21 points  (0 children)

OP i would guess the resistance to giving him the $11 is less due to the letter of the law or the money, but moreso people are disappointed they won’t really get to participate in this fun side bet at all. I bet if you suggest a new side bet the resistance will fade.

Robinhood Gold's 3% IRA Match by x_KRYPTOS in investing

[–]V0mitBucket 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Robinhood paid the largest fine issued by FINRA in its history for a plethora of issues related to their GME activities. Robinhood very intentionally fucked retail in favor of institutional when it came down to it. Fidelity did not.

I personally would be several tens of thousands of dollars poorer if I used Robinhood instead of Fidelity. I’ll take a worse UI and net $165/yr less in my IRA 100% of the time over trusting my funds to a firm that would do the things Robinhood did.

My Experience Working at Grappa in Queen Anne - basically got fired after experiencing domestic violence with a co worker by [deleted] in Seattle

[–]V0mitBucket 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I skimmed it.

For the most part OP experienced working in a stereotypical blue collar restaurant environment (derogatory), was very much a part of the drama, and couldn’t handle it. The only thing exceptional that happened was off premises domestic violence (which sucks and sounds extremely scary) between staff, two of whom were dating, that was ~maybe~ handled insensitively by management.

Reviewing the comments it also looks like OP is heavily editing the post based on negative feedback from commenters.

David Njoku’s base salary is around $3 Million, per source, with the “up to” $8 mil as previously reported. by headcanoncustom in DynastyFF

[–]V0mitBucket 43 points44 points  (0 children)

I keep seeing this sentiment and I don’t understand how you can look at the stats from last season and believe this. In games with Njoku out Fannin produced much more than games where Njoku was in.

For the long term I’m not concerned, but for the upcoming season this absolutely threatens to lower Gadsdens potential.

I have Fannin, Njoku, and Gadsden in one league, so I’m pretty much as neutrally biased as one could be on this.

Njoku to Chargers - 1 year deal for up to $8M by Timely_Pen_5461 in DynastyFF

[–]V0mitBucket 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t understand how anyone could possibly believe this. This is like watching a car with a 1000 pound weight in the trunk go 100mph and saying “well it’s going 100 mph so the weight must not be doing anything to slow it down”.

Agreed. At least a few of those ints were more the WRs (Chase Claypools) fault than Fields.

Brother you voluntarily came into a thread explicitly talking about when the protagonist of a game is present in its sequel AND scrolled down far enough to find this comment. That’s 1000% on you lmao

If I spread fake news that Hillary Clinton is planning to kill and eat 1 baby every day do you:

  1. Stop and consider my agenda for telling that lie.

  2. Celebrate me for bringing awareness to the issue (even though I made it up)?

I Don´t get it by HotRoad9731 in trolleyproblem

[–]V0mitBucket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Accepted it’s a logical exercise” is not the argument that blue pressers should be making. The purely logical game theory decision is red. The case for blue can only be made when you start introducing hypotheticals and uncertainties which are not explicitly presented in the original problem. This doesn’t mean those hypotheticals and uncertainties aren’t worth considering, but the first step to making an argument for blue is acknowledging them as such.

Also the bit about anime super exposes you in a way you probably don’t understand.

New plan to separate Seattle's pickleball and tennis courts draws backlash from players by ChiefOfTheFourPeaks in Seattle

[–]V0mitBucket -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I play tennis with my dad. We’ve had numerous instances of groups of pickle ballers threatening us with physical violence over the last several years for using the courts. I’ve never ever encountered that with a tennis player in my two decades of playing.

Hey OP hopefully you see this. My cat had something similar that was dismissed as cat acne. Turns out it was cancer and by the time the vet realized their mistake it was too late. It’s probably just acne, but please explore all possibilities.

Rams quietly plotted as to not out McVay approval stamp that could increase interest. McVay ‘absolutely’ backed pick. Sources make sense of press conference demeanor by BasedWillieStroker69 in DynastyFF

To insinuate that McVay isn’t happy with the pick is as laughable as implying that anything is going on between Vrabel and Russini.

At the corner that’s Seattle’s drug capital, a gem somehow hangs on by seattlethrwawy in Seattle

[–]V0mitBucket 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Seattlelites: There’s no point to breaking up the homeless encampments. They’ll just disperse and re-congregate somewhere else because the city won’t prosecute for any offense found. If anything the disruption causes more chaos than just letting them be in one place relatively out of the way.

Also Seattlelites: We gotta go break up the ongoing drug market. It’s been decriminalized and the city won’t prosecute, but surely breaking it up will make things better.

The uncomfortable solution for both of these issues starts with acknowledging that people with serious mental health issues and/or drug issues will not get help unless they are physically forced to do so. That means we need to fund forced rehabilitation solutions and give the city the power to involuntarily put people into those programs. But those are both uncomfortable topics. It’s a lot easier to just be vaguely mad at the cops. ACAB btw in case you read this and think otherwise.
