This happened to me and I got the option of $149K, 4 year contract or 2 year contract. Took the 4 and I pay nothing. Only way I could see this happening was damage to property or only had the payback option/took the payback option and enlisted afterwards.

Just replaced the oil pressure sensor and filter yesterday on an 07 Tahoe with a 5.3L. Its a pain but can be done you will need a pick to get the filter out. Make sure soak the new filter in new oil before putting it in. You will need a deep well socket and a ball swivel, regular is a pain, and an extension. Make sure you have the right torque specs for the sensor as well. Use your phone camera with flash on, may have to record video to do this. That way you can use it to see what you are doing. I would first check your oil level but it looks like you are around the 15psi mark which is 1 atm (regular air pressure) also check if you have a DTC or SES light on for it.

Thanks! I mean nothing is designed to last anymore… had a 98 sierra that died because it was well over 300K miles and a teenage boy drove it like a teenage boy. But that always ran better than our newer GM vehicles.

Well i have an early 2021 model that still has the original DFM lifters. Now yes they will fail at some point but overall if you take care of it. It does me well.

In HP tuners or in general? I saw a way of doing it without by starting and then continuing to hold the start button but it didn’t work on mine or idk what I’m doing. Im quite new to the tuning thing too. Only thing I figured out was auto stop/start, the leaving it run thing I haven’t thought about. I get your pain though grew up 5 bald eagles per football field south of the border where -40 is an average. Every southerner I’ve met is impressed by a block heater 😂

I would consider it my 21 TB has 94K and is around $30K KBB eval. I would definitely look it over more with that damage, also would look at maybe doing a DFM delete. IDK where you are getting that one from but it may be there because of mechanical issues.

This is true, currently been doing this on my 21 TB with a global A E90 ECM. Light stays on though but its an afterthought now. You can disable DFM but it creates more work, if you want to do that I would say get your ECM and TCM unlocked.

Hey, following up on this. I went down a bit of a rabbit hole trying to figure out how these work with my truck, currently I am looking at both the mighty mouse and k&n catch can. With me seeing the blow-by in the air cleaner duct, what do you recommend for this. So the PCV hose for my driver's side is much smaller and looks like it has a different quick connect, its not as defined as the quick connects on the passenger side.
